I thought it would be a very light pink, but when I applied it on its own, the color payoff was decent. It seems good to apply lightly on bare skin without looking too overpowering. The staining is not artificial and leaves a soft pink tint. The application is velvety but not oily.
Cons
The case doesn't seem to close tightly, so when I just toss it in my bag, the lid sometimes rotates slightly. It doesn't actually leak, but I need to be careful when storing it.
