The color was so beautiful that I decided to try it as my first matte lip product. It turns out the hype wasn't just false advertising! The color payoff is gorgeous, and it's so velvety that I didn't have to worry much about it transferring. That being said, it's not completely transfer-proof. Coming from using moisturizing lip products, I was really impressed with this level of performance! ConsAt first it was fine, but as I used it more, the cap seemed to loosen up. Now it keeps spinning around in my bag. Unfortunately, while Mary's Soda products generally have beautiful color payoff, their packaging tends to open easily or leak. TipRecommendedFor those with a lot of dead skin cells on their lips, make sure to apply a generous amount of Vaseline before bed!
