After application, it deeply hydrates, and its moisture content seems to provide a slight cooling effect that helps soothe itchy areas, which I really appreciate.
ConsMy child has very dry skin, so the hydration doesn't seem to last long. About 30 minutes after application, I need to reapply, which is disappointing in terms of long-lasting moisture retention.
TipIt works well when applied immediately after cleansing or showering. Gently pat it in to absorb, then layer on a second application for best results.

It applies lightly and absorbs well without leaving any residue on the skin.
ConsBoth my son and I have mild atopic dermatitis, but this doesn't seem to fully address the itching. Perhaps due to the drier winter weather, its lasting power is a bit disappointing.
TipI found it helpful to apply thin layers frequently when skin feels extra dry.

The best thing I noticed while using this product is how well it absorbs. Even when I'm in a rush to apply it with slightly damp skin due to cold weather, it spreads smoothly without any white cast. ♡ Love the gentle ingredients! I really appreciate that it's made with only gentle ingredients. Plus, even though it doesn't contain added fragrances, it truly lives up to its claim of being unscented - absolutely no scent at all!
ConsI found the moisturizing effect doesn't last as long as I'd like, despite it being a cream rather than an emulsion. It was fine for me since I don't have dry skin, but given the current season, it fell a bit short for my child who has a dry skin type. It should be suitable for those who don't have dry skin.

We gave this a try, and it's so gentle that even our toddler can use it. My face and skin were dry and I had some blemishes from scratching, but after applying this, it calmed my skin and feels great. Personally, I prefer unscented products, so I'm pleased that this one has no fragrance.
ConsThe tube packaging makes it a bit inconvenient when you need to quickly apply it to a child. Also, maybe because our skin is extremely dry, the hydration doesn't seem to last as long as we'd like.
TipFor extra hydration, try applying this cream immediately over a soothing gel before it dries. It works wonders for locking in moisture.

It absorbs well and has excellent application. 2. My skin feels comfortable. I didn't experience any blemishes. 3. The fragrance-free formula might be a matter of personal preference, but it's great for sensitive skin. If you smell it closely, there's only a very faint hint of an oil-like scent. 4. The tube packaging is very convenient and hygienic, which is a plus.
Cons1. It's slightly lacking in hydration for use as a body cream. While it's perfectly fine as a body moisturizer for spring and fall, if you have dry skin and are looking for a highly effective winter body cream with long-lasting moisture, you might find its staying power a bit disappointing.

My face is oily, but my body is dry, making me prone to itchiness during seasonal changes and winter. When the itching starts, it's intense enough to cause scabs from scratching. So, I closely monitored how well this product alleviated the itching. To cut to the chase, in my experience, it worked well for short-term itching relief. However, I do recall having to reapply it during the night when itchiness returned, so I'd say it's somewhat effective. The product absorbs well. It's truly unscented, which is great. I found it absorbed quickly without any stickiness, but with a slight richness (similar to Physiogel DMT cream). After application, it leaves the skin smooth and well-moisturized. That said, I think the formula could benefit from being a bit more rich. Overall, it's much better for dry skin compared to other body emulsions that just provide fragrance like perfume.
ConsI think if it had a richer feel, the moisturizing effect might last longer. I might need to buy some oil to mix with it. Also, the volume seems a bit small for a body emulsion. It would be great if it came in a larger size.
TipI plan to purchase some oil to use with it.

Surprisingly, while the left one looks less oily and more hydrating, I find the A-Repair Ato Cream to have reduced oil content and increased hydration! It's closer to an emulsion than a cream in texture. *Scent: It's practically fragrance-free. If you squeeze a bit onto your hand and sniff closely, there's a faint medicinal scent, but it's so subtle that unless you're sensitive to fragrances, you'll likely consider it unscented. *Absorption: Compared to the Ceramide Ato Emulsion, this absorbs so much better. When you apply it to your body, you can feel it being absorbed immediately. It's great for instantly addressing problem areas with dead skin cells or dryness. While the ILI product left a slight residue (oily feeling), the A-Repair Ato Cream leaves almost no residue, just a moisturized feeling.
Cons*Longevity: Despite claims of 100-hour hydration, I didn't experience that. While it provides excellent immediate hydration, I felt my skin becoming a bit dry again after some time. I don't have particularly dry skin, so those with dry skin types might find it quite dehydrating! - This doesn't mean I don't recommend it, just that it might lack staying power in winter! *Price: In my opinion, it's not particularly budget-friendly. Even on sale, it's priced in the $20 range, so if we're considering value for money, I might choose ILI for winter use.
