  Pros

  First off, while I do have acne-prone skin, my breakouts are mainly due to hormonal issues. My skin itself is actually incredibly resilient - like steel! I have combination skin that seems to tolerate all cosmetics well. The pads are individually wrapped, making them perfect for travel! The amount of essence in each pad seems quite generous.

  Cons

  The gauze side of the pad is incredibly rough. Even though I have thick, non-sensitive skin, it felt too harsh and irritating. When using the pad, you're supposed to cleanse first with the gauze side, then with the embossed side. However, the two sides completely separate during use.

  Pros

  The individual packaging was probably the best feature for me. It's convenient to carry around and great for touch-ups on the go. I can see it being perfect for travel too! What's nice is that the front and back are different, so you can use both sides. It's gentle on the skin and really useful for removing dead skin cells.

  The silk part feels a bit rough, so if you rub too hard, it might cause some irritation!
