  Pros

  I have dry skin prone to deep dryness. It worked great when I soaked a cotton pad and used it to refine my skin texture. The best results came from patting it in 3 times to help absorption. The scent is a very mild, natural herbal aroma with almost no artificial fragrance. I recommend this for those who dislike chemical cosmetic smells or floral scents. The completely liquid texture means it's not sticky at all and feels refreshing. It absorbs well into the skin quickly. There's no irritation at all - not just low irritation, but zero irritation! If you layer it 3 times in the morning before makeup, it cools your skin temperature and provides hydration without causing other skincare or makeup products to pill.

  Cons

  It doesn't have any effect on alleviating deep dryness. When applying with bare hands instead of a cotton pad, it tends to run. While I think the refreshing nature of the product is nice, the packaging design isn't particularly attractive (personal opinion).

  Tip

  I recommend applying multiple layers. Before makeup or when removing makeup, saturate a cotton pad generously. It also works well when applied with a makeup sponge.

  Pros

  As someone with dry skin, I tried this product during my trip to Thailand by soaking it in pads. It absorbs incredibly lightly. It's unscented with no significant irritation, and I felt a cooling sensation when it touched my skin. Due to the extreme dryness on the plane, I had developed some blemishes, but they disappeared within a day. After two days of use, the redness was gone. I think it's perfect as a summer toner or for acne-prone skin, so I'm planning to use it extensively once summer arrives.

  Cons

  For dry skin, I don't think it would be effective in winter. As it absorbs without much hydration, it doesn't seem to address deep dryness.

  Tip

  It's great for use during summer or when traveling to warm climates. It seems particularly beneficial for oily skin types.

  Pros

  I gave it to my sister since it didn't suit me, and she said it was refreshing and pleasant as she doesn't have sensitive skin! She liked that the scent wasn't overpowering, which is great for those sensitive to fragrances. Also, it's not a sticky toner, which is a plus.

  Cons

  I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin that doesn't react well to houttuynia cordata, tea tree, or alcohol/ethanol. When I use incompatible products, my skin flares up the next day. This product contains tea tree, which might be why my skin reacted badly. If you're sensitive to tea tree like me, it's best to avoid this product. (My sister's review) She mentioned it doesn't help with deep dryness and feels it's too expensive for repurchase. She'd buy it again if it were around $10, but not at $30.
