I wrote this based on dry skin. Texture and absorption As a water-type toner, it applies smoothly without stickiness. The product absorption is also clean and absorbs quickly. Scent The scent is a light herbal, ginseng-like smell. It's not overpowering or strongly noticeable when applied, but if you dislike this type of scent, I wouldn't recommend it. Pros
I bought it together with Centella and it was great to use it like a mist while carrying it around. After visiting a dermatologist, I used it and since it is a 100% extract, it was absorbed well without any irritation, and there was no stickiness at all. It also helped reduce redness on my skin.
Cons
I had to buy 2 of them since cross-purchasing was not allowed, but I was a bit disappointed to find them available at Daiso later.

Lately, my skin has been feeling very hot and irritated, and after eating something bad, I used a saline solution pack and then a cotton pad soaked in the solution as a pack. 1 100% Houttuynia cordata! I was very happy that the product is made with only Houttuynia cordata extract. The Houttuynia cordata ingredient suited me well, so I was able to use it with confidence. 2 Not strongly scented The herbal scent was mild, so there was no aversion to it. The scent is weaker than the one from boiling the herb in water. 3 Good for soothing When applied on cotton pads to sensitive areas, the redness significantly subsides by the next day. My skin feels comfortable. 4 Non-sticky The formula is watery, so even after multiple applications, there is no sticky residue left behind. 5 Convenient I've tried making Houttuynia cordata tea myself, from purchasing the herb to washing and boiling it. It required a lot of effort and time. Having a 100% extracted product is so convenient.

You can buy a container from Daiso to put the cotton pads in, soak the cotton pads in the extract, and use them as a sheet mask when needed. Don't pour the extract directly into the container.
