I even stopped using brushes and contouring. I got to try this product as a Hwahae Tester, and I'm impressed! The compact size makes it easy to carry around, and the case is quite nice. I was really surprised by how well it absorbs into the skin. For a natural look, you'll want to pat and blend it out. It seems like it would work well with a basic sponge applicator.
ConsAs someone with warm undertones, I found that this product has a reddish tint that makes my face look flushed. I'm not sure about its staying power.
TipUse it with a sponge applicator! This would probably suit darker, tanned skin tones well.

To be honest, I was puzzled at first about how to use this since the color was darker than I expected. Here's my take on using it as a contour: 1. The absorption is fantastic. It glides on smoothly and settles nicely on the skin. 2. It blends well. If you apply a thin layer before your regular foundation and then blend with the foundation you use on top, it creates a natural contour effect. 3. Highly recommended for those who love a toned-down makeup look.
Cons1. Color selection is crucial. Shade 33 is quite dark, but if you're serious about contouring, you can mix it with your foundation for excellent results.

I loved how it maintained the foundation's moisture, and the stick format made application so convenient. Since it was a bit too dark for direct use on my skin, I applied it to the back of my hand first, then used a sponge to lightly layer it on. This method allowed for a natural application! Compared to powder shading, it didn't look awkward at all!
ConsThe twisting mechanism in the case felt a bit loose and rattled. While it didn't affect the usage, I hope they could pay a little more attention to this detail!
TipFor those planning to use this as a shading product, I recommend applying it bit by bit with a sponge and layering it gradually!

I used shade 33 of this foundation, not as a base but for specific purposes like contouring. Being a stick format with a large surface area, it was great for applying to the jawline when held flat, and easy to use on the nose when held upright. The stick format was incredibly convenient. It blends without much clumping, but beginners might find it challenging to apply evenly. I've only used powder contours before, which tend to transfer easily and wear off quickly without a fixer. This stick, however, lasted quite well even on days I didn't use a fixer, though it does transfer a bit like regular foundation. If you adjust the amount and find the right shade for your skin, it can be a useful custom contouring tool.
ConsMy skin tends to be reddish, and applying this directly without blending made me look like I had clay on my face - it was too orange. If you don't have yellowish undertones, you might find the blending process a bit cumbersome. The coverage is quite sheer, so if you're using it as a foundation rather than for spot coverage, you'll need a separate concealer. I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients for a foundation.
TipYou can use it for contouring without a spatula by applying it lightly with a gentle touch, then blending it out with your regular foundation. I've actually mixed this foundation with my usual one in a separate case to create a custom contour shade that matches my skin tone perfectly. It's so convenient to have a personalized mix that works just right for me!

I used it for contouring, and the stick format was really convenient. The shade wasn't as dark as I expected, and while it looked quite reddish, it actually applied to my face in a natural, flattering tone. This made it very wearable without being overwhelming.
ConsThe amount of product is so generous that even with daily use, it might last for years! It seems more suitable for a salon where it could be used on various clients.
TipFor best results, apply it with a sponge, gently blending it into the desired areas. This method ensures long-lasting wear and a natural color payoff.

You can apply it directly to your face without getting your hands messy. Just glide it along your facial contours. Application: It spreads smoothly and evenly. Scent: The fragrance is inoffensive. Texture: Being a solid type, there's no excess powder and it creates a natural look.
ConsColor: The color is the most crucial aspect, and the dark beige shade seems suitable only for those with very deep skin tones. It's ideal for people who are tanned or naturally have a darker complexion. For someone like me with slightly darker skin, the color stands out too much and has a lot of redness, making it challenging to match. I need to mix it with other foundations to achieve the right balance.

When this stick foundation came up for the Hwahae Testers event, it was described as being for contouring. So, I chose the darker 33 shade for shading purposes. I wanted a natural, undetectable contour, but felt that 23 wouldn't be different enough from my usual foundation. I was initially worried about using a stick foundation all over, as I have oily skin prone to clogged pores and patchiness. However, using 33 to define my face shape worked great! I easily applied it along my hairline, sides of my forehead, and jawline, then blended it out with a puff. It looked natural and subtly slimmed my face. I applied my usual liquid foundation all over, then used this 33 shade for contouring. The darker color worked well for this purpose, though I think even a lighter shade would have been tricky to use as a highlighter due to my large pores. In the last photo, I swatched the stick foundation on the back of my hand and blended it with a puff. To the naked eye, half my hand looks slightly darker, but the difference is less noticeable in the photo due to the fluorescent lighting. Regardless, the edges blend seamlessly for a natural finish.
ConsAs is typical with stick foundations, it can feel a bit dry. Also, given my large pores and oily T-zone, it's challenging to use all over my face.
TipI'd recommend using your regular base makeup for all-over application. This stick seems perfect for easy contouring, whether you're using it for shading or highlighting.
