  Pros

  Skin type: Super sensitive/Dry/Oily T-zone/Closed comedones/Thin skin I regularly use enzyme/powder cleansers and have tried four different ones (two Japanese and two Korean). This Real Barrier product has fine particles that lather up well, which is impressive. Usually, coarser particles can be irritating if they don't dissolve completely, while finer particles often don't foam up well. However, this cleanser strikes a great balance. It also contains AHA/BHA, which helped remove dead skin cells and small whiteheads. Compared to other products, it's generally less irritating and great for deep-cleansing pores. I'd recommend using it about three times a week rather than daily. I've seen reviews complaining about the large opening of the container, but personally, I find it fine.

  Cons

  For me, the skin around my cheeks and eyes felt a bit tight right after cleansing. It's best to follow up immediately with a toner or skin. This might work better in summer; I found it slightly drying for winter use. It didn't have a significant effect on blackheads.

  Pros

  I've always been a fan of powder cleansers and have tried several other brands. Since I'm currently enjoying the Real Barrier Extreme Cream, I was really excited to try this product! I love that the powder dispenser has a wide enough opening, making it easy to pour out. Also, with these types of products, the container often becomes unstable as it gets lighter, but this one seems to have just the right height and width to stay upright even when it's almost empty - that's a plus! As expected from Real Barrier, the product itself is gentle, hydrating, and lathers well. However, since it's a powder and could potentially be a bit harsh, I only used it twice a week. I have super sensitive skin, by the way.

  Cons

  The reason I docked a star is because my skin tends to get extremely dry during seasonal changes, especially as winter approaches, and I'm prone to blemishes. From the time I started using this product, I noticed small pimple-like bumps appearing, and it seemed to accelerate my skin's dryness. Also, right after use, I felt a slight burning sensation and tightness in my skin. For reference, I usually use a mild acidic foam cleanser from another brand.

  Pros

  I used to use a low pH cleansing product, but I was amazed when I tried the Pore Clearing Powder Wash that I won. Despite being low pH, its cleansing effectiveness was the highest among all the low pH cleansing products I've used. I could definitely feel it helping my pores. The powder particles are similar to those in the image below. It dissolves quickly when mixed with water, so there's no irritation on the skin. Looking at the photo below, you can see eyeliner, brow product, concealer, and mascara. The brow product comes off easily, while the eyeliner requires a bit more rubbing to remove. The concealer and mascara seem to be about half removed. It's great for daily use to wash off sunscreen and brightening moisturizer! The large quantity means it'll last a long time, which is a plus. Also, it's fragrance-free, so it's suitable for those with sensitive noses.

  Cons

  As someone with dry skin, I noticed my skin felt a bit tight, especially during winter. Also, it doesn't produce a rich lather, and being an enzyme cleanser, it might not suit everyone.

  Make sure to use it with a gentle stream of water!

  Pros

  1. The fine particles create a soft, rich lather. Recently, I've had a lot of dead skin cells on my face, so I've been using another brand's enzyme powder cleanser since October. But this product... I'm personally 99% satisfied! Compared to the product I was using before, the particles are smaller and finer, dissolving quickly in water to create a creamy foam! It's not extremely thick, but you can feel more viscosity than typical powder cleansers! 2. Gentle! Perfect for daily use I used to use enzyme powder cleansers 1-2 times a week. This product claims to be suitable for daily use, so I've been using it every day for about 2 weeks now as my second cleanse and morning cleanser! Even though my skin is currently sensitive with inflammatory blemishes, I've been using it without any side effects! 3. Moisturizing finish without any slippery feeling :) Usually, low pH cleansing products, regardless of their form, tend to leave a slightly slippery finish. But this product feels the lightest and freshest among all the low pH cleansers I've tried! Instead of feeling slippery, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed after cleansing!

  Cons

  So far, I haven't found any significant downsides, but if I had to nitpick, even though it's marketed as a daily low pH powder, those with extremely dry skin might want to use it only 2-3 times a week! Since it's winter and dry, I noticed a very slight tightness after cleansing when using it daily! Of course, this could be because I've been using it frequently, morning and night, for two weeks for The Hwahae Testers review!

  Tip

  When showering, after your first cleanse, create more foam than usual with the powder wash! Apply a thick layer to your face and when the foam starts to settle a bit, gently massage with slightly damp hands for a great cleanse! If you find it difficult to create rich foam with your hands, try putting a tiny amount of powder and water in a glass bowl and whisk it vigorously with a pack brush to create a creamy lather!
