This is a soothing cream with excellent absorption. It's quite lightweight, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and is great for replenishing moisture without clogging. The calming ingredients should be beneficial for irritated skin! I started noticing a few blemishes the day after using this product, but I didn't suspect it at first. After a week of use, my skin was in chaos, so I had to stop using it. I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit my skin type, but it seems like it's clogging my pores and causing breakouts. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 30, 2023
It absorbs well, has a calming effect, doesn't cause irritation, and feels lightweight on the skin It doesn't help with pore management, lacks staying power, and causes some itching - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2023
This soothing cream has been my summer savior, conquering headaches left and right. It's a truly lightweight moisturizer, perfect for solo use in the hot months. The downside is the pore-clogging ingredients. You can definitely feel it blocking your pores. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 31, 2023
It absorbs smoothly and feels hydrating, which I love. Even after application, I didn't experience any dryness. While I didn't have any blemishes, I'm a bit concerned about the pore-clogging ingredients it contains. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2023
It absorbs well initially, but doesn't seem to penetrate deeply into the skin. As for hydration, when used alone as a cream, it's not quite enough - my skin feels quite dry, so I can't use it by itself. When I apply it, it feels like it's clogging my pores, which makes me reluctant to keep using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJun 30, 2023
I love how it absorbs lightly and spreads evenly! It feels gentle and perfect for summer use! It's mild and decent. I bought it for my son's keratosis pilaris, hoping it might help. We've been trying various products, but unfortunately, there's no improvement yet. It feels wonderfully cool when applied after being stored in the refrigerator! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinApr 19, 2023
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, sensitive, prone to redness, large pores in T-zone, occasional blemishes and acne scars, blackheads, whiteheads My personal star rating guide: 5 stars: Repurchased products, holy grails, highly recommended 4 stars: Would repurchase, quite good products 3 stars: Decent products 2 stars: Disappointing products, wouldn't buy again 1 star: Products that irritated my skin 1. Price This product often has 1+1 sales, so it seems like an affordable cream to use regularly. Appears to be good value for money. 2. Texture It has a light, soothing texture that would be especially nice if applied chilled during summer. 3. Hydration Being a soothing cream, it definitely provides good hydration. Great for a quick moisture boost. 4. Scent The fragrance isn't overpowering, with a subtle herbal scent that I found pleasant! Conclusion: Recommended for those who respond well to Houttuynia Cordata and are looking for a lightweight, hydrating soothing cream! Seems particularly suitable for oily skin types. After trying it, I've realized that Houttuynia Cordata might not be the right ingredient for me. I didn't experience any calming effects when using this cream or the Houttuynia Cordata ampoule. It didn't cause severe irritation, but my skin became slightly blotchy. It wasn't a complete disaster, but it fell short of my expectations. While skin reactions can vary from person to person, I noticed that after using this product, which only seemed to provide hydration, my pores started producing a lot of oil after a short while. Perhaps the texture is too light for my skin type. Try keeping it in the fridge and using it as a soothing mask pack during summer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 8, 2023
The gel texture absorbs well and quickly, leaving a refreshing feeling that's perfect for everyday use without any heaviness. It's a bit disappointing that it contains stearic acid, which might potentially clog pores. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2023
I've been using this gel cream regularly, and it's quite similar to my favorite birch moisturizer. The texture isn't too heavy for my combination dehydrated skin. It absorbs well and feels light enough for daytime use. On the first day of use, my skin felt itchy, possibly due to the pore-tightening ingredients. When I tried it again after three days, the itchiness was gone. However, I was disappointed that it didn't provide the soothing effect I was hoping for. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2023
The absorption was great, leaving my skin feeling moisturized inside and out! It's perfect for summer when I prefer a lightweight moisturizer. This product is just right for the warmer months! It gives such a dewy glow. Comparing it to the only hydrating mask I have, while both leave the skin feeling hydrated on the surface and deep down, the mask tends to make my skin feel hot when I breathe on it, even though it doesn't have any irritating ingredients. But with this cream, whether it's my breath or a hair dryer, there's no burning sensation on my face, which I really appreciate! I can't believe a cream suitable for oily skin contains pore-clogging ingredients... I was using it without checking the ingredients, but then I started noticing one or two small blemishes popping up every day. I thought the cream might not be agreeing with my skin, but it turns out it was blocking my pores... Now I'm not sure how to use this product. I was planning to use it in summer, but I'm getting blemishes even before summer arrives... I'll try it again after a few days of not using it, and if it still doesn't work out, I guess I'll have to give it to my sister!
