  ✓ Extremely dry skin ✓ Strongly dislike sticky finishes ✓ Photosensitive and very sensitive skin ✓ Love products that claim to soothe redness, dead skin cells, and sensitivity I tried the Pure Biome Cleansing Powder. I've used powder cleansers before, but I was particularly excited about this one from Make P:rem, given their reputation for gentle products. Initially, I didn't mix enough powder with water and when I rubbed it on my face, it was quite painful... So, everyone, please make sure to mix it well with water before use! After adjusting the water ratio, it produced a nice, fine lather and felt much better. What I appreciated most was that it didn't leave my skin feeling dry.

  With powder cleansers like this, they often come in single-use packets, but I always find there's too much product. I end up using each packet 2-3 times, and it's not ideal to leave an opened packet in the bathroom. I wish they would reduce the amount per packet and lower the price accordingly.

  The powder particles are incredibly fine, dissolving instantly when they touch water. While it doesn't create a rich lather when rubbed between your hands, it does produce a gentle, soft foam! It definitely gives a mild, non-irritating cleansing sensation. It's perfect as a second-step cleanser rather than for removing all makeup. I'm satisfied with how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and not tight after cleansing. Each use is individually packaged, making it hygienic and great for travel. This seems to be its biggest advantage.

  As someone with dermatitis and sensitive skin, I was hesitant to use peeling gels for exfoliation. After some research, I learned that enzyme powders are less irritating, so I bought this on a time deal at a great price! My mom is currently using it and she loves how gentle it is on her skin.

  I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin. My forehead, nose, and chin are very oily, while my cheeks are dry - it's a truly sensitive skin type. I bought this to cleanse only the areas where I produce a lot of sebum, and it's fantastic! Actually, I used to use the BPLG Mung Bean Bubble Wash-off Mask, but since it was discontinued, I searched for ingredients that absorb sebum and finally chose this one. The foam is gentle and rinses off without irritation, which I love.

  Cons

  While the single-use packets are convenient for travel or business trips, they're not as practical for everyday use at home. I use it for spot cleansing, so one packet lasts me about 3-4 uses. It would be great if it came in a larger container for home use.

  Tip

  Since I don't use the entire packet at once, I need to keep moisture and water out. As shown in the photo, I've folded it and hung it on a Daiso toothpaste holder. I tried sealing it with a clip before, but that was inconvenient. This method is easy to use and helps prevent moisture from getting in!
