  Pros

  The advantage is that it's a gentle gel cleanser. I recommend it for those who respond well to Houttuynia cordata extract.

  Cons

  I have oily skin in the T-zone and slightly combination dehydrated skin on my cheeks. After using this for over two months, I kept getting folliculitis. It seems Houttuynia cordata doesn't suit me. For oily skin, this doesn't exfoliate dead skin cells at all. After cleansing, white sebum remains stuck in the pores...

  Tip

  Recommended for dry skin. Also recommended for super sensitive skin that responds well to Houttuynia cordata extract.

  The only positive thing I can say is that it's cheap. It doesn't seem to suit my skin at all, unfortunately.

  Cons

  This product didn't work for my combination dehydrated skin... After using it for just one day, I noticed some redness. I was about to stop using it, but I decided to give it one more try. Big mistake! My skin became so blotchy and irritated, it was on the verge of a full-blown allergic reaction. I guess this product isn't for everyone.

  I couldn't find any particular benefits for me as it didn't suit my skin. It was just... okay, I guess?

  My skin typically requires toner pads due to concerns with dead skin cells! When I ran out of pads for a while, my makeup started to look patchy. Although I didn't initially buy this foam for that purpose, I found it quite effective at removing dead skin cells! With consistent use, I'm not sure about its effect on blemishes (as I don't often get them), but my makeup application improved, and I could manage without toner pads! The price was affordable, and the generous amount meant I could use it without worry. I also felt reassured using it as the ingredients list didn't contain any concerning components.

  Despite claims of being non-irritating, for some reason my face would tingle after use. It's not severe, but I'm hesitant to use it daily, so I've been applying it every other day instead!

  My son and daughter both use this. After about two weeks, my son's blemishes noticeably improved. I touched his face without thinking and was surprised - his skin, which used to feel bumpy, was much smoother. It's not quite 'silky smooth' - that'd be an exaggeration - but there was a definite improvement. Since the only thing we changed was the cleanser, I realized the houttuynia cordata must be great for acne relief.

  Cons

  The cleanser's texture is like liquid soap. The scent is exactly like that soap you find in department store restrooms. I had to double-check several times to make sure this was actually a cleanser. That's a real disappointment. My daughter (who's in middle school) developed blemishes after using this. Could it be because she didn't have acne to begin with?

  I love that it's gentle on the skin! Even though it contains exfoliating ingredients, it manages to clear away dead skin cells without causing pain or redness. My nose, which used to have a lot of whiteheads, now feels super smooth. The slightly acidic pH is a plus, and the inclusion of soothing houttuynia cordata extract gives me peace of mind. It's a gel type cleanser, but it lathers up nicely.

  For the first few uses, I noticed some flaking on the outer areas of my cheeks (possibly due to the exfoliation causing dryness).
