It's a shame this product has been discontinued. The scent was nice, and as someone with dry hands prone to hangnails, it was quite suitable. While other L'Occitane products are good too... It works well in winter, but might feel too heavy for summer use. It's disappointing that it's been discontinued. - ti**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 20, 2024
The scent is absolutely incredible! I love it so much. It's sweet and leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. It's not the best value for money. I wish they would offer more discounts. However, the fragrance is amazing. - sn****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 1, 2024
At first glance, it looked like gochujang (Korean red pepper paste), so I thought it would have a light scent. But it's actually deep and rich - I love it! It's hard to describe... it's a fragrance I'm not familiar with! But it's truly wonderful. There's nothing I dislike about it. Maybe just a fleeting thought that it could have been a touch more powdery? - sy****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 18, 2024
I love L'Occitane hand creams, and I was thrilled to receive this as a gift. The fragrance is absolutely divine. It's called Green Chestnut, and it has this luxurious, sophisticated chestnut scent. The cream absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated with a slightly rich texture. The downside of L'Occitane products is that you get a rather small amount for the price, and I'm a bit disappointed that the ingredients list isn't as clean as I'd like. - de*******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 2, 2023
L'Occitane hand creams, regardless of the line, seem to deliver above-average moisture, absorption, and fragrance. I was initially unsure about Green Chestnut's scent based on the name, but it's slightly heavy, sweet, and luxurious... a rich fragrance perfect for winter. The texture isn't too light, yet it absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue, just a pleasant moisturized feeling. Overall, it's a very satisfying hand cream. The scent is likely to be universally appealing and suitable for both men and women, but it's definitely a rich, sweet fragrance that's perfect for colder seasons. It might feel a bit heavy during summer. As always with L'Occitane, the price is the main drawback. Other than that, I can't find many negatives. The more you smell it, the more addictive the fragrance becomes. I was worried it might be limited edition, but fortunately, it's still available through various channels. I received a 30ml as a gift and I'm enjoying it, but I noticed they also have a 150ml size. Once I finish this one, I plan to buy the larger size. If you like the scent, I highly recommend getting the bigger bottle. - ri********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2023
I treated myself to a L'Occitane haul as a year-end gift, and this hand cream was part of the holiday package. The festive packaging was absolutely gorgeous! The scent is chestnut-inspired, but it's not overly sweet. It's more of a powdery fragrance, blending beautifully with the shea butter. The scent is quite strong, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some. Compared to the original shea butter hand cream, this one has a lighter texture. It absorbs well, spreads easily, and leaves a refreshing feeling on the skin. It's been great for keeping my hands from drying out, even with frequent washing. I love how it moisturizes and soothes rough cuticles. It's definitely a bit rich for summer use, but perfect for the dry seasons - except maybe the height of summer. I work indoors, so the richness isn't an issue for me, but it can feel a bit heavy when used outside. I mainly use it in cool, indoor environments. Before it's fully absorbed, it tends to leave marks on glass surfaces if you touch them. - di*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2022
The L'Occitane hand cream's moisturizing power is simply outstanding, no need to say more! The scent might be hit or miss for some people - it has a chestnut aroma. The design gives off a festive end-of-year vibe, which is very nice. - nd****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 28, 2022
I tried L'Occitane hand cream for the first time, and I'm impressed! It absorbs well, so your hands don't feel sticky or slippery - making it suitable for everyone. The texture is a standard hand cream consistency, not too heavy. As for the fragrance, when you first apply it, there's a hint of wood or grass, followed by a sweet chestnut scent. The grassy note is barely noticeable, with the chestnut aroma being more prominent. It's a warm and cozy scent that pairs perfectly with winter. Personally, I highly recommend it! Because it absorbs so well and doesn't bother me, I find myself applying it frequently. I usually never use hand cream, but I'm using this one so often that the amount is decreasing quickly!
