It applies thinly and has decent staying power. The color is suited for deep undertone complexions. I usually don't look good in orange or coral shades, but I'm using this by applying a cool-toned base first and then putting this on the inner parts of my lips. It might be a bit much for cool-toned skin to use alone, but the color itself is pretty and works well when mixed with a cool base. The shade is exactly like a grapefruit red. I'm not sure if this is typical for Givenchy, but the scent is a bit strong for my liking.
