The texture is slightly thinner than typical shampoos, with a transparent appearance. The lather is thick and sturdy. As I have an oily scalp, if I skip using it for a day, the lather becomes dense and clumpy. However, just 2/3 pumps create a rich, fluffy lather, so I don't need to wash my hair twice. (Other products require double washing to feel refreshed.) The cleansing power is excellent - the abundant lather thoroughly cleanses the scalp, leaving it feeling fresh and rejuvenated. There is no itchiness, unlike when using incompatible shampoos. The scent is not overpowering, yet not completely unscented either - it has a pleasant floral aroma.
