  - Texture and Hydration: As a lifting emulsion, it definitely has a firmer texture compared to regular emulsions! Even though I have an oily T-zone, it wasn't too rich for summer use. I was quite satisfied with the oil and moisture balance. - Absorption and Application: Despite its firm texture, it doesn't feel sticky, so it didn't interfere with makeup application. The emulsion flows smoothly, making it very easy to apply.

  Cons

  I wish the design could be a bit more sleek! I understand they went for a functional red look to emphasize its lifting properties, but it feels a bit dated.

  - I love the firm texture and the moisturizing effect that isn't too heavy! - It's moderately hydrating, so those with oily skin might find it perfect when applied lightly! - While I'll need to use it longer to fully assess the lifting effects, I'm continuing to use it with high hopes due to its firm texture!

  - Those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. - The packaging is really disappointing, unfortunately.

  Tip

  For a light application, this might be enough on its own without needing to apply cream afterwards. However, if you have dry skin, make sure to follow up with a cream!

  I thought its strength was its firmness, but after actually using it, I loved how it made my skin feel bouncy and elastic! The texture is great, the scent isn't bad, and both the quantity and price are reasonable. I think it's a really good product.

  Cons

  For some reason, I did experience some blemishes after using it, but I'm hesitant to say it's definitely because of this product. It could be due to other products or my skin condition...

Not heavy or oily, making it perfect for quick and light skincare. Dry skin types can use it as the first step in skincare, while oily skin types might prefer it as a middle step.

  The thin consistency and the bottle opening can be slightly inconvenient to use. The lid connection appears fragile, raising concerns about potential damage during shipping or use. The lack of a seal adds a slight feeling of unease.

  Tip

  I really liked the texture and feel of this product! It has a runny consistency that absorbs smoothly when applied, but then it becomes tacky and sticky, giving the impression that it's locking in moisture well. It's exactly the texture you'd expect from Hada Labo! The scent is also really lovely.

  Cons

  If you're expecting a typical emulsion, you might find this a bit different at first! Although it's labeled as an emulsion, perhaps due to its texture, it feels more like applying a toner or essence. If you're looking for a stronger moisturizing effect with a more finished feel, I'd recommend purchasing the Hada Labo Gokujyun Cream instead.

  Tip

  Due to its tacky finish, I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin! The sticky texture makes it best suited for spring, fall, and winter rather than the height of summer.

  Texture] It's closer to an essence than an emulsion. It's semi-transparent and flows when tilted on the back of your hand. Feel] It's perfect for light application in summer, but you'll definitely need a moisturizer in transitional seasons or winter. It maintains that unique bouncy texture and absorbs quickly without feeling too sticky. Scent] When you open the lid, there's a familiar cosmetic scent that's hard to pinpoint. The fragrance isn't strong, and it's almost unscented after application. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Personally, I prefer Gokujyun's signature bouncy texture and unscented products, so I'm really happy with this!

  Packaging] At first glance, it looks like you need to remove all the plastic wrapping, but there's a dotted line around the cap. You only need to remove the top part, leaving the body wrapped. Also, there's no inner seal under the cap - you can use it right away. The cap material and packaging design are a bit disappointing. Still, I suppose it's better than having a fancy container with less product at a higher price.

  Tip

  For me, it's already hot enough that this alone is sufficient for my skin.

  1. Fragrance-free Almost no scent, so it's suitable for everyone without any preference issues! 2. Hydration My skin has been so dry lately, and I've tried oils and changed creams, but nothing seemed to help. When I used this with a cotton pad instead of toner before makeup, my makeup didn't flake, and it really helped with deep dryness. I'm so pleased! 3. Skin-plumping Right after application, there's a slight stickiness, but once it absorbs, there's no unnecessary oiliness, and my skin feels firm and plump!

  1. Due to the product's texture, the opening gets messy, and the container design seems to amplify this issue. 2. Slow absorption While it's great once it absorbs, it takes a bit of time to fully sink in...
