It's really fantastic when used together with the d'Alba serum I think d'Alba is the best brand for basic skincare products Apart from the somewhat unpleasant scent, everything else is fine and usable! However, I don't find myself reaching for it very often - se*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2025
I was intrigued by the combination of essence and cream in one product. It helps reduce dryness. It didn't suit my skin, so I gave it to my mom to use. This is the third jar I've passed on to her... - ki********Combination SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2025
Great for winter with its excellent hydration. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. It's a bit too rich, causing blemishes around my nose due to excess oil. I'll need to be more mindful during the winter months. - ki*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2025
✓ Packaging Clean white tube packaging that's hygienic and portable! The cap is secure, so no worries about leaks when tossing it in your bag. It's fascinating how the serum and cream come out of the same tube! ✓ Volume 60ml is surprisingly generous! Considering you're getting the effects of two products (serum + cream), it seems quite cost-effective! ✓ Texture The serum has a thin, hydrating consistency, while the cream feels smooth and rich. For my combination skin, it's not heavy on the T-zone and provides sufficient hydration for the U-zone. ✓ Scent There's hardly any artificial fragrance, just a subtle, pleasant scent that's not bothersome. Even those sensitive to fragrances should be able to use this without issues. ✓ Effectiveness Great hydration without pilling, so it's perfect for mornings too. When applied generously at night, it works like a sleeping pack, leaving skin soft by morning. For combination skin, it doesn't cause tightness or excess oiliness, making it ideal as a daily cream. While immediate brightening or firming effects aren't noticeable, consistent use should yield results. - Since the serum and cream come out together, it might be a bit inconvenient if you only want to use one or the other. - If used both morning and night, you might go through it quickly! The value for money could be debatable. - Those seeking intense nourishment or rich hydration might find it a bit light. - The tube opening could be a bit narrower. Personally, I found it difficult to control the amount, and too much tends to come out at once. While it absorbs quickly enough to use under makeup in the morning, given its hydrating, nourishing, brightening, and firming properties, I'd recommend using it before bed rather than in the morning! - hq********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 25, 2025
I've used about 4 jars of the scoop-out version, but when I saw it came out in a tube, I bought it right away. Dalba's truffle cream is, well, there's nothing quite like it when your skin is dry! It's the best when your skin is flaky and not in good condition. It balances oil and moisture well while giving a hydrated feeling. The tube is so convenient that I think I'll just keep using this format from now on! The advantage of the half-and-half cream was that you could customize the ratio of cream to gel, but with the tube version, you have to use it as it comes out. It comes out in about a 50-50 ratio, which I'm satisfied with. It works even better if you use a toner that maximizes absorption before applying this cream. The effects are better than just using the cream alone! - yu*****Oily SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2025
I've been using this for a year and it absorbs well. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I never felt dry, and my makeup applies beautifully the next day. If you have dry skin, this might not provide enough hydration for you. - kj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
It's great that it solves deep dryness issues! Among hydrating creams, this one gives me the most satisfaction. It's a bit disappointing that the price seems slightly high compared to the amount you get. If you press the pump part carefully, you can control it to dispense both components evenly mixed! - ye*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 4, 2024
It wasn't as sticky as I expected and absorbed well. Plus, having both serum and cream together helped reduce the number of skincare steps. Depending on the season, sometimes the serum doesn't come out, leaving you with just the cream. You often have to tap the bottom repeatedly to get the serum out, which can lead to applying too much cream. Before using, close the lid and gently tap the top part against your palm to send both the serum and cream to the bottom. This ensures an even distribution when you squeeze it out. - sk**********Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 25, 2024
As someone with oily skin who usually avoids creams, I love this one because it doesn't make me greasy. Instead, it feels like it's truly locking in hydration. It's like my skin becomes plump and bouncy! There's honestly nothing I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick... maybe the fact that two types of cream come out? But that's actually a good thing, I think. It might be a bit annoying if they don't dispense evenly though. Use just a tiny amount each time. If you apply too much, it might make your skin oily. A little goes a long way for hydration! - io*****Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2024
As someone who's all about that lazy skincare life, I absolutely loved this dual-action product that tackles both hydration and brightening in one go! It's a bit disappointing that the ratio of each cream doesn't always come out consistently.
