This product is packed with an incredibly high concentration of panthenol. Wherever you apply it, it's fantastic for soothing the skin and strengthening the skin barrier. It's extremely sticky, so there's no way you can use it on its own. That's the only disappointing aspect. - al****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
After using this, my skin transformed from a hopeless, blemish-ridden disaster to that of an average person... It'll take some time before I achieve that baby-soft, glowing skin, but this is truly a product I'll use for life. It made me realize how incredibly well my skin responds to panthenol. What a blessing this item has been! Given that it's an ampoule packed with active ingredients, it's undeniably thick and heavy. However, its numerous benefits far outweigh this minor drawback, making it absolutely worth using. I've found that applying a panthenol cream afterwards helps to somewhat mattify the finish of this rather sticky ampoule! I highly recommend using these two products together. - hy**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 5, 2025
Skin type: ✓ Extremely dry ✓ Sensitive ✓ Prone to redness ✓ Frequently develops small bumps ✓ Thin skin I had been consistently using a ceramide essence, but at some point, it felt like my skin barrier had completely collapsed to the point where I couldn't feel the effects anymore. Realizing this couldn't go on, I immediately logged onto Sidmool's website and searched for panthenol products! That's when I discovered this seemingly more potent product and ordered it right away. Now, after a week of use, I can literally feel my skin barrier becoming stronger! It's amazing! Naturally, I'm not getting any small bumps either. I'm so happy! Later, thinking my barrier had improved, I switched to a different essence only to find my skin becoming pale and flaky again. ✨ However... The stickiness is incredible. If you apply it in the morning ➡️ Even after layering essence → moisturizer → cushion foundation, you'll get an insane glow explosion! So my conclusion: Recommended for evening use only! But I use it both morning and night! I really hope those with damaged skin barriers & extremely dry skin who read this will see results quickly! ❌ The price isn't particularly budget-friendly considering the amount. However, the speed of barrier repair is undeniable! It's definitely effective for damaged skin. ❌ The stickiness makes it nearly impossible to use in summer. Even now in winter it's manageable, but when the wind blows, your hair sticks to your face like glue! In summer...? You'd have to slick back every single strand of hair! ✓ Make sure to apply an oil-free moisturizer after this product! The product itself isn't just sticky, it's STICKY! STICKY! If you know what I mean... ✓ Be careful when applying before bed. If you toss and turn in your sleep, all your hair will stick to your face! But the effects are definitely worth it! *I can confirm that with this product + a barrier-repairing moisturizer, my skin doesn't feel tight all day long! - wj*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
I have combination skin that's prone to blemishes. I've been using this for about 3 years now, and it's lightweight while improving my skin texture. Because it's so light, I tend to use more of it. As a result, I seem to go through it quite quickly. It works perfectly when you apply two or three drops during the serum step of your routine. - dy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
Highly recommended for those with a weak skin barrier who respond well to panthenol! It's stickier and applies thicker than any other panthenol product I've tried! However, it really helps strengthen the skin barrier, so I've gone through several tubes! I recommend this for those with dry skin, in need of hydration, or concerned about their skin barrier. While there's nothing particularly disappointing, if I had to mention something, I wish it were a bit more affordable! Be careful not to apply it too thickly as it might not be good for your skin. I recommend mixing it with a thinner product for the best results! - ba********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 1, 2025
I have extremely dry skin lacking both hydration and oil. Usually, my skin feels tight and dry within two hours of applying skincare products. Remembering that panthenol worked well for me before, I decided to order Sidmool's Panthenol and Bifida serums. First, I applied my regular toner to lock in moisture, then layered the Panthenol and Bifida serums. Amazingly, within a week, my dryness was under control. Now I don't feel any tightness throughout the day. My skin was so parched that I couldn't really feel any stickiness. And the Bifida serum works incredibly well with my skin! You need to be careful with the amount you apply. If you use too much, it might feel sticky. The combination with Sidmool Pure Bifida is absolutely fantastic. - bo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
As someone with dry, sensitive, and redness-prone skin, this is my absolute must-have that I always keep stocked! Due to my super sensitive skin, I only use hydrating products rather than functional ones. As I've gotten older, my skin has become increasingly dry, red, and sensitive, which was really stressful. My dermatologist recommended panthenol for skin hydration and soothing, so I first tried La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 with 5% panthenol. Finding that panthenol worked well for me, I decided to try Sidmool's Panthenol 30 Ampoule to use alongside my cream, and it was amazing. Even slathering on moisturizer didn't help with my deep dryness, but this made my skin feel hydrated and was excellent for calming redness. I was truly satisfied. While I was happy with the Panthenol 30, I wanted to try the Panthenol 50 Ampoule for winter, and it was even better! Since I have such dry skin, I'll use the Panthenol 30 in summer and the Panthenol 50 for the rest of the year from now on. High concentrations of panthenol might not suit everyone's skin, so I recommend starting with a lower concentration product. For those with oily skin, I suggest using the Panthenol 30 Ampoule only during winter. Also, the finish is a bit sticky, so hair can easily stick to it. It might be better to use it as part of your evening routine. If you find using the panthenol ampoule alone uncomfortable due to its stickiness, try mixing it with your cream for easier application. - sh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 19, 2024
My skin feels comfortable and not tight all day long. This is a staple product I keep repurchasing! I go through about one bottle every two months. There are no downsides. However, first-time users might find it a bit sticky. If you apply a compatible cream right when it feels sticky, the stickiness disappears and both products absorb well into the skin, leaving it plump and hydrated. - me*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 6, 2024
I originally used Sidmool's panthenol, but switched to this one after finishing it since it has a higher concentration. I'm definitely more satisfied with its soothing effects and plan to repurchase. It seems like it'll be great for winter. While it's not a big issue when used at night, it tends to pill slightly and look a bit greasy when applied in the morning. It's not a smooth, glowy finish, but more like an oily sheen. I'm using it with powder because I can't give it up... My current skincare routine is: 1. Skip toner or occasionally use Avene Thermal Spring Water Mist 2. Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule (just finished, planning to try something new) 3. Wellage Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule 4. Add a few drops of this Panthenol 50 to the above ampoule 5. Esnature Squalane Cream 6. Birch Tree Hydrating Sunscreen 7. Sidmool Dr. Troub Centella Powder I follow this routine without applying makeup. - ss*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2024
Panthenol works wonders for my skin. I'm a firm believer in focusing on barrier care for skin management, and panthenol is a key ingredient for that. The texture is truly amazing - it's like a slightly runny honey. I absolutely love this type of formula, so it's a big hit for me. I've tried the smaller size too, but I prefer this one, so I stick with it. It's on the pricier side, to be honest. I sometimes wonder if it's really necessary to use up to 50% of the product.
