It stains instantly upon application. The color is a chic deep red that's perfectly balanced between warm and cool tones. It's ideal for those with warm deep skin tones and light undertones. The staining matches the applied color exactly, and it sets on the lips so well that I realized this is what they mean by 'monster longevity'! Personally, I'm not a fan of quick and intense staining, so I found this aspect a bit disappointing. If you don't blend it immediately after application, it stains right away. I recommend spreading it with your finger right after application or dabbing it on by tapping with your fingertip for the best results.

After being cooped up at home due to COVID, I wanted to try something fresh instead of my old tints and lipsticks. I chose a unique brand called Vegan Super, and their Wave Tint line, which originally had 5 shades, just added 3 new colors. I picked shade #8, Nac. I've been watching Wednesday on Netflix and fell head over heels for the main character's charm. It made me want a dark reddish lip color for myself. While many recent tints have a matte velvet texture, this one has a thin consistency similar to Benefit's tints. It applies sheer at first, and the color builds up gradually. After a few layers, it became more intense. It's not exactly the dark red I was after, but more of a muted red. It's similar to the 'Moist Berry' shade from Red Cookie that I own, but the different formula makes it look unique. This product doesn't dry out my lips, cause lip wrinkles, or emphasize dead skin cells. The design is also unique, making it a lip product I want to carry around with me. Because the formula is thin and stains the lips as you apply it, it can be difficult to remove completely.
