The CosRX Vitamin C23 is less viscous and less sticky than the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. However, the innovative concept is a bit more irritating. The CosRX is oily. It is most effective for dark pigmentation and acne scars. After using it for about 5 months, I definitely felt an improvement. For some reason, the uneven marks (not freckles or spots) improved, and my skin tone became more even, so my skin looks clearer.
