After developing problematic skin, I became very interested in skincare and spent a lot of money on cosmetics, but I realized that there are limits to what cosmetics can do to improve my skin and that I wasted a lot of money. The only downside is the price. All cosmetic products have some markup, but especially aesthetic cosmetics have a very high markup. On Naver, they sell 500ml bottles for tens of thousands of won, but I recommend buying new products on secondhand platforms instead of those (the same goes for any high-end cosmetics). Even the prices on those secondhand platforms still have a margin built in.

After the Hwahae treatment, I would apply it to my reddened skin, and I felt it had a calming effect on the redness and acne. The absorption is good, but there is a slight stickiness left after application. So I haven't used it before makeup as I thought it might be a bit too slippery. The product comes in two sizes - 50ml and 500ml. Since it's a professional product, the 500ml size is quite large. While the larger size is more cost-effective, it's still a lot of product that could last for years, so I ended up purchasing the 50ml version after much consideration. The full retail price also feels a bit expensive, so it's best to look for discounted offers.

As the name 'lotion gel' suggests, this is not a thick creamy formula, but rather a firm lotion-like texture. As a result, it does not spread exceptionally well, so it can be challenging to apply a small amount. Therefore, I apply a hydrating ampoule first, and then spread this product on before the ampoule fully dries.
