I usually don't prefer watery products, so I rarely used water essences. But when I put this in a mist bottle and sprayed it on, it was so convenient and amazing! Sometimes I just sprayed the water essence alone, and I didn't feel any dryness. I ordered it as a sample, but it came as a full-size product. I've been using it consistently, and it's great for summer weather. Plus, they even wrote my name and included instructions and benefits, which made it easier to use. This first essence has a water-like consistency. I'm using this as both an essence and toner. It's lightweight yet deeply hydrating. I love using it as a mask by soaking cotton pads - it seems to moisturize deep into the skin. Also, thank you for the empty bottle you sent along. I'm using it to decant the product.
