First of all, I have trouble-prone, dry skin. Texture and usage: When you squeeze it out of the tube, the texture maintains its shape, like a slightly firm sorbet. When you apply and rub it into the skin, you only feel the moisturizing sensation without any oiliness! I was satisfied with it for my trouble-prone skin that gets anxious when I apply something too oily. In reality, there was no irritation or acne flare-ups, so I could apply it worry-free! Packaging: The container is smaller than expected, but when you touch the tube, you can feel that the packaging material is sturdy. It's easy to use the tube, and I think it's something that anyone would find pleasant. Fragrance: It's completely fragrance-free! Even though it's labeled as fragrance-free, some products have a slight herbal or chemical scent, but this one has practically no smell at all, which was surprising. I used the Wellauge Moisture Ampoule very well, and the cream is also moderately good! I don't prefer gel-type moisturizing creams because they dry out quickly, but this product has plenty of moisture and a bit of oil, so it doesn't dry out. It has a slightly thick texture, but it spreads smoothly and softly. After applying it, my skin feels smooth and supple!
Cons
The texture is smooth, but it's a bit like a primer, so it doesn't absorb well and leaves a whitish cast like a mask... It also doesn't help with dryness. The ampoule is a huge 100ml, but the cream is only 50ml, which is disappointing. I have combination skin with dehydration! The tube-type formula surprised me when I squeezed it out - it's firmer than I expected. It looked quite dense, so I thought it might be rich, but when I spread it with my hands, it melted away smoothly and softly! It's like a mix of sorbet and cream. The winter moisturizer I used before, the Real Barrier Extreme Cream, has a very dense formula, so it's hard to spread, but this has a soft, moisturizing cream texture. It's not too fresh, but not overly rich either, and as it spreads so smoothly, I can feel the moisture penetrating deep down. As a dehydrated skin type, I really liked this. I didn't experience any dryness, but that might be because I normally use a pad, toner, ampoule, and 100-cream routine, so dryness wasn't an issue. This is a review I wrote about a week after receiving the product.🙂 The tube-type packaging makes it easy to control the amount dispensed, which is great. The fragrance is a faint trace of the hyaluronic acid scent from Wellauge's Hyaluronic Blue 100 Ampoule. It's not an artificial fragrance and isn't overpowering, so even those sensitive to scents should be able to use it comfortably. The texture is similar to a sorbet, but it spreads smoothly and absorbs without any residue. It's not a heavily moisturizing formula, but rather a well-balanced one in terms of moisture and oil. After applying and absorbing it, you get a sense of both moisture and oil being replenished, without any stickiness. Unless you have extremely dry skin, this cream alone might be enough as the final step in your skincare routine. Even though I have sensitive eyes that are prone to irritation, I didn't experience any stinging or discomfort when using this product.🙂 The cream kept my skin from feeling dry for around 7-8 hours. It provides good internal hydration, but those who need more surface-level moisture might want to layer another product on top.
