The gel mask has a slippery texture, and while the separated top and bottom sheets were a bit inconvenient to apply, I really appreciated the easy-peel packaging of this one - it opens up nicely from the side. Being a gel sheet, I could leave it on for a long time without it drying out or feeling tight on my skin. It even worked well as an overnight mask!
ConsUsually, with this type of mask, I apply it after finishing my basic skincare routine up to moisturizer. The occlusive effect typically helps with product absorption. However, with this one, even after wearing it for 2-3 hours, I found that my previously applied cream hadn't absorbed at all and just sat on my skin. The cooling effect was underwhelming, and I didn't notice any improvement in my skin afterwards. It was just... completely unremarkable. The thick gel texture felt a bit suffocating while wearing it, but I persevered, only to feel like I'd wasted my time. When I first opened the easy-peel package, the purple essence inside suddenly gushed out, making a mess I had to clean up. The watery consistency means you need to be careful when opening it. There's also a sweet scent, somewhat similar to figs, but it's quite strong which I found disappointing. I tried using it for three consecutive days to see if my technique was the issue, but I ended up with small bumps all over my face, almost like hives. While I can't be 100% sure it was this product, nothing else in my routine had changed recently. I still have a few sheets left, so I might try again when my skin is in better condition.

After use, my skin felt firmer and I noticed a brighter complexion! Unlike regular sheet masks, it doesn't dry out quickly, keeping the skin hydrated for longer.
ConsPersonally, I find gel-type masks a bit suffocating, so I can't keep them on for too long. Also, the sheet is too large, with excess material around the forehead area. If I align it with my forehead, there's too much left over around the nose, so I have to trim one part or the other.
TipSince the mask is large, you can cut off the excess and apply it to your neck. It seems to work well for neck wrinkles too!
