The Panthenol cream had an unpleasant odor, so I was worried, but this one smells just like an ointment, with no unpleasantness at all. It's thick and nice. When I applied it during times when my skin needed moisture, I could feel my skin improving.

The formula is very thick and dense, not soft but firm. It's difficult to scoop up with the hands, and a spatula-like tool works better to dispense it. When warmed slightly with body heat and massaged, it applies well, though it's initially quite firm and can be a bit surprising. It contains various oils as well as synthetic beeswax, making it definitely oily and rich. It's a good choice for very dry skin in the winter, but applying too much to the entire face can feel a bit tight and stuffy, which is typical for an overnight-type product. When used with a good moisturizing base, it works well.
Cons
The product is too firm in formulation, making it difficult to dispense. It would be great if the lid could be designed to store a spatula, so that it can be easily applied.
