(Note: I have sensitive, combination dehydrated skin prone to redness!) I had high expectations, and I'm really satisfied! I've been curious about this product for a while after seeing it all over social media, and I finally bought it during a recent Olive Young sale. There was also a new gel cream version, which I thought might suit my skin type better, but I went for the original cream skin anyway. 1. It's not heavy I started worrying right after buying it that it might not suit my skin, but fortunately, it never felt heavy. Since it's a cream-type essence, there was a bit of shine on my combination dehydrated skin, but over time it turned into a pretty glow that wasn't too much. Even in summer, it wasn't too shiny or burdensome. 2. The hydration is amazing When choosing skincare products, I prioritize soothing effects first and hydration second, and I'm particularly picky about hydration. This is one of the most hydrating products I've ever used. The mist pump that comes as a gift provides light but deep hydration, and applying the main product like a toner gives an even deeper moisturizing effect. I usually just lightly spray it with the mist pump, but I can feel not just hydration but real, deep moisture that lasts for hours, which is amazing. Honestly, I've been too lazy lately to do a full skincare routine, so I just use this. That's how good the hydration is. 3. Great soothing effect I have super sensitive skin, and when I bought this in the evening, I curiously sprayed it a few times before bed. The next morning, I woke up to find two inflammatory blemishes starting to appear. I was skeptical at first and considered stopping use, but just in case, I kept spraying it throughout the day. Believe it or not, I could see the blemishes going down in real-time. Of course, it could have been due to something else, but I haven't experienced any more breakouts while using this, so I think it helped. In conclusion, I highly recommend this to people like me who are tired at night and find skincare routines bothersome. Make sure to get the set with the mist pump... it's really convenient and a game-changer. Even when I'm too sleepy to bother with toner, ampoule, and cream, I just use this before bed, and I don't feel any dryness when I wake up in the morning. I think I'll try the gel cream version next time. 1. The cap is difficult to store I couldn't find any flaws with the product itself, but with the mist pump set, you end up not using either the cap or the mist pump. It would be nice if they included a ziplock bag or something to store the unused part. I really liked that it didn't cause much skin tightness. Even with just a small amount, it worked well. It's a bit disappointing that it feels sticky. I probably won't use it much during the summer. The product seems to provide good hydration without excessive dryness, which is a plus. However, its sticky texture might make it less suitable for hot weather. It could be a better option for cooler seasons when skin tends to be drier.
