Start with a low concentration of retinol and gradually increase it as you use it. If you start with a high concentration right away and your skin reacts badly, it can be painful.

The more intense the yellow color, the higher the concentration is likely to be.

Unfortunately, this was too strong for my skin. After using it on the first day, my face felt warm, but it was still tolerable. When I used it again on the second day, I felt a sudden heat sensation, and my skin reacted badly. Even washing with water stung!

However, this isn't a problem with the product itself, but rather that the concentration was too high for my skin to handle! You know what I mean? It's still such a good ingredient that I couldn't give up on it completely. I ended up purchasing the 0.1% version and have been using it successfully.

This product is truly amazing for neck wrinkles! It's incredibly effective. Since you only need to use a tiny amount, if I had bought the full-size product, it would probably last a long time. However, it didn't suit my facial skin, so I gave up after trying the sample.

But still! It was a great opportunity. I was able to find the right concentration for my skin. Anything above 0.1% works well, but anything over 0.3% is a no-go for my skin type.

Since it's a high concentration at 0.3%, I recommend mixing it with another cream or getting used to lower concentrations of retinol before using this one.

The absorption is nice, with a texture similar to an emulsion - not too thick or heavy. I love using it after IOPE Stem III Ampoule and before bed. The next morning, my skin condition is great, with visibly improved texture and pores. It's especially effective when I get a good night's sleep. I don't use it daily, just two or three times a week.

Given the high concentration of retinol, I strongly recommend that first-time users start with the smaller 5ml size before purchasing the full-sized product.

The price is definitely the most disappointing aspect. Compared to the 0.1% version, it's 10ml less in volume but more expensive. Despite this, I plan to continue using it consistently for wrinkle management.

Having used the 0.1% version last year without any adjustment period, I decided to try the 0.3% after finishing it. The 0.3% is noticeably stronger - on days when my skin isn't at its best, I sometimes experience some dead skin cells the next day. This just shows how high the retinol content is! While I don't have any eye wrinkles yet, so I can't speak to any dramatic effects, I'm using it preventatively. I've noticed it seems to have some positive effects on the pores around my nose and T-zone.

About a week after first use, my skin turned red for 4-5 days. The price is wickedly high.

I've only been using it for two weeks, so I'm not quite sure yet... I think I need to use it a bit longer to really tell.
