As someone with acne-prone skin, I was so upset that I overdid my skincare routine, which led to sensitivity. Looking back, it was a combination of issues - long galvanic treatments, irritating ampoules, a new toner, starting retinol, harsh cleansing, and poor stress management. My face was burning, flushed, and everything I applied was painful. That's when I remembered this forgotten centella cream. Surprisingly, it didn't sting and had a cooling effect. It was the least irritating product when I tested small amounts on my jawline during a skincare crisis. While still slightly irritating, it was more soothing than other products. Once the heat subsided, I felt so relieved. I slowly recovered using this cream and Aestura emulsion (which I bought later and caused almost no irritation). Perhaps its gentleness is due to its simple, low-concentration ingredients. Skin troubles can be truly awful, right? After overcoming that difficult time together, I've developed an irrational trust in this product. It's always on my vanity now. The price is so reasonable that I apply it generously. I use one or two tubes a month and have bought at least seven so far. I'd cry if it were discontinued! I stock up whenever I think of it, but it's always sold out when I urgently need it. Heartbreaking! Hygiene isn't top-notch since you scoop it out with your fingers, but clean hands are fine. When applied to reduce heat, without patting, it leaves a slick, not oily, but unabsorbed layer. It's a bit sticky, which isn't great, but patting helps. Not recommended for mornings - a thin layer under makeup might be okay, but too much causes pilling. There are many other nourishing and hydrating creams out there. To be honest, this isn't a must-have. Why bother when there are so many famous, high-quality products available? I just... grew fond of it after overcoming a distressing experience together. It's entry-level for testing if centella suits you. Not recommended for nourishment - only for those wanting a cooling effect on their face. It's great for quickly lowering skin temperature when applied generously and exposed to a fan or natural breeze. That's about it. Since refrigerated skincare can irritate sensitive skin, you need to be careful. Overdoing it can lead to another skin flare-up - sensitive skin can be such a troublemaker!
