A YouTuber doctor who bought this with their own money (keeping it real, haha) The product is pretty good. It's fragrance-free, not too oily, and not overly hydrating either. It's a well-balanced moisturizer that hits the sweet spot for oil and moisture balance. I'd say it's even better than Kiehl's moisturizer. It's not just YouTube hype - the product is genuinely better than expected. The price, though... For a basic moisturizer that wasn't developed by a major company, it feels a bit overpriced. Being fragrance-free makes it a bit plain, so I find myself eyeing new products or alternatives. However! When it comes to sealing in hydration after applying a hydrating serum, there's nothing quite like this. It may be basic, but it's undeniably effective. I was skeptical of TV doctors seeming like salespeople, but... The product turned out to be good. You probably won't regret trying it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2023
I'm subscribed to Dr. Pibu's YouTube channel and decided to try the skincare line created by the dermatologist. Here's my honest review after using it for over a week. The balance between hydration and oil seems just right. I used to use Zero* Intensive Cream, but it felt a bit dry in winter, so I looked for alternatives and settled on this. It's not overly oily or thick, though. It glides on smoothly, so the absorption is really great! It also gives a slight plumping effect to the skin. The absorbs well is excellent, so even when I layer it, there's no pilling. The jar packaging is a bit disappointing from a hygiene perspective. It would be even better if they could improve this aspect. From the second week, I suddenly developed small bumps. I'm not sure which ingredient caused it, but for someone with seborrheic dermatitis like me, the rich texture might have been the culprit... It's definitely going to be challenging to use during warm spring and summer months. Sometimes when my skin is super sensitive and I apply the cream too thickly before bed, I wake up with small red blemishes. I found it works well when used as a thin layer over a very light moisturizer. (However, I personally use this cream alone, applying it once after cleansing in the evening and then a very thin layer just before bed.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2023
My skin is combination dehydrated and super sensitive! Moisture Barrier: With the dry weather lately, I've been focusing on skincare products that form a moisture barrier rather than lightweight formulas. This product seems perfect for that. It has a slight richness and doesn't absorb immediately, leaving a subtle glow after finishing my skincare routine. While using this product, I've never felt like my skin was dry. Perfect for Sensitive Skin! It contains cica ingredients, and most importantly, it's free from harmful substances, so there's no irritation. I absolutely love that it's fragrance-free and odorless! My skin usually reacts immediately to products that cause even slight irritation, but I haven't experienced that at all while using this. Unlike other moisturizers that have large packaging but little product inside, this one is filled to the brim. I'm really impressed with the product-to-packaging ratio! Since it's a moisturizer with a bit of richness, I noticed that when I applied it generously on days with heavy air pollution or when I had to wear a mask, things tended to stick to my face. However, it's great that I can apply it liberally before bed without any issues. Also, since it's not 100% hydration, it might be better to use it alongside other products during the dry winter weather for optimal results. The slight richness compared to other moisturizers makes it excellent for facial gua sha in the morning and evening. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
I have combination dehydrated skin. When I first received this product, I wanted to check its hydration level. So after cleansing, I applied toner and just this cream alone... Oh my! I didn't feel any dryness at all! It absorbs well without feeling heavy, and there's zero stickiness. The texture is light, so I thought it might get dry over time, but I was surprised again to find no dryness at all! I'm even more satisfied because it's fragrance-free! Zero blemishes or tingling! It's such a gentle product that even if it gets in your eyes, there's no irritation! It absorbs really well, and even if you apply a lot, there's no stickiness at all. It balances oil and moisture perfectly, and it feels like the hydration reaches deep into the skin barrier! I think this would be great as a gentle, highly moisturizing product for all skin types. With its good ingredients and no artificial fragrances added, I'm 100% satisfied! If only they could lower the price a tiny bit... It would have been even better if it included a spatula! For those with extremely dry skin, this alone might not be enough, so try mixing it with a balm when you apply! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinFeb 10, 2023
It has a soft texture that's brimming with hydration. I usually don't like creams that absorb instantly since my skin tends to be a bit dry, but this one is so moisture-rich that it leaves a plump feeling even after some time has passed. It's the perfect cream for the dry season we're in right now. Being a lightweight formula, I could apply it in the morning without any pilling issues with my makeup. In the dead of winter, this alone might not be enough, and you may need to layer a hydrating moisturizer on top. It works well as the final step in your morning skincare routine. For evening use, try layering a hydrating moisturizer over it for extra nourishment. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
Skin type: Large, numerous pores in T-zone with redness, combination dehydrated skin (oily but lacking moisture), acne-prone. Skin barrier: The skin barrier in the T-zone was significantly compromised, causing persistent redness and dryness even after acne cleared (though large pores still accumulated oil). Consistent morning and evening moisturizing plus mid-day hydration greatly improved the skin barrier and almost eliminated redness. - Contains beta-sitosterol, which is similar to cholesterol found in the skin barrier - Hyaluronic acid: Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid helps draw moisture into the skin and aids in skin barrier protection Deep hydration: This product doesn't just moisturize the surface - it provides deep hydration. The more you apply, the more it alleviates deep dryness. Ingredients: Free from harmful or allergenic ingredients, and gentle on the skin. Developed by dermatologists, which inspires confidence. - Seems to have a positive long-term effect on the skin without causing stress Hygiene: The product comes in a jar form but doesn't include a spatula. If you prefer using a spatula, it's recommended to purchase one separately. Pore oiliness: While the overall skin condition and acne-prone areas improved significantly, the pores in the T-zone seemed to produce more oil, making them appear larger. (My skin tends to produce a lot of sebum between pores) Milia: While most areas were fine, small bumps (milia) appeared on the forehead. It's unclear if this is due to over-nourishment or lack of nutrition. (I will update on this after continued use) Since hyaluronic acid draws moisture from within the body to hydrate the skin, drinking plenty of water can maximize its effectiveness! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
I received this product as part of The Hwahae Testers program. The texture is moisturizing without being sticky, which worked well for my combination dehydrated skin. Unlike lighter creams, it provides long-lasting hydration and seems to effectively combat dryness. While I didn't notice any dramatic improvements in the short term, it felt like a decent cream overall. The regular price seems a bit too steep to justify purchasing at full cost... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 10, 2023
Hydration: This product seems great for combination dehydrated skin! It's neither too rich nor too light, so I personally felt it provided just the right amount of moisture. When I apply it generously at night, I can feel my skin staying hydrated until the next day. Texture: The consistency is like a heavy whipped cream, heavier than an emulsion. However, it spreads smoothly, and after about 5 minutes, it absorbs completely into the skin, leaving no feeling of heaviness at all! Blemishes: I usually worry about potential reactions or breakouts when changing my skincare routine, but I trusted the gentle ingredients in this product. Even during my menstrual cycle, I didn't experience any blemishes or adverse reactions! Packaging: It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't come with a spatula for hygiene reasons. It would be great if they included one or made it a pump-type product instead. Honestly, the lid color looks a bit outdated, and just looking at the packaging, it doesn't seem like something that would appeal to people in their 20s and 30s. Scent: This product is truly fragrance-free. If you're sensitive to scents or dislike all fragrances, you'll likely be satisfied using this product. The price feels a bit steep... Without any discounts, I might hesitate to repurchase it. I highly recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin due to its excellent hydrating properties! (However, it might not provide enough moisture for those with very dry skin.) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
I was selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, so I'll write an honest review. I have combination skin, and my deep dryness varies depending on the cleansing foam I use. Currently, I'm using a cleansing oil along with a moisturizing foam cleanser, so my skin doesn't feel particularly dehydrated after washing. When first applied, the cream spreads well with a lightweight, hydrating feel. It's a white cream that, as shown in the photo, isn't sticky but rather moist and has a texture that breaks cleanly when pulled apart. The scent is nearly non-existent, so you can say it's a completely inoffensive fragrance. I didn't experience any blemishes! While I didn't notice a significant improvement in skin hydration, I think it's a cream that can be applied without any issues. It feels heavy and burdensome to apply in the morning... And after application, while I prefer a moderately moisturized feel, I found it annoying that my hair kept sticking to my face. Unfortunately, this wasn't the texture I was looking for. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2023
Texture: It's between a moisture-rich cream and an emulsion, but doesn't feel heavy. The oil and moisture balance is excellent, effectively combating dryness without leaving a greasy feeling. Scent: Almost fragrance-free. No blemishes! This alone is a huge plus. Perfect for seasonal changes! It's not heavy and maintains hydration for a long time. You can complete your skincare routine with just this cream! I apply this cream generously and use a beauty device to help it absorb. My skin becomes glowy and super soft! I've been using only this cream lately. It comes in a jar but doesn't include a spatula, which isn't very hygienic. The price is a bit on the steep side. If you have combination dehydrated skin, applying this cream after light skincare steps should provide just the right amount of hydration. Recommended for those experiencing dryness during seasonal changes!
