Non-irritating. Although it's a product for blemishes, I liked that it wasn't irritating. During cleansing, rather than feeling squeaky clean, it gently rolled on without causing irritation! Also, after cleansing, my skin didn't quickly dry out. Instead, it felt so moisturized that there was no deep dryness! As a result, I loved how comfortable it was during my skincare routine. Recently, I've been struggling with skin troubles on my chin and cheeks, and other blemish products caused severe tingling. However, Care Zone's Calming Relief Acne Foam has been my go-to product for evening cleansing for a week now because it's non-irritating. 2. Cleansing effectiveness that removes even glitter without a trace I usually wear minimal makeup, just a bit of eyeliner and eyeshadow. I've always found it disappointing that gentle products don't completely remove glitter. However, the Calming Relief Acne Foam cleanly removed everything from liquid glitter to fine particle glitter. It even removed eyeliner without irritation and without needing a separate remover, which was very satisfying. It also thoroughly cleansed foundation and cushion products, even clearing out residue around the nose. I'm very satisfied that this foam cleanser alone is sufficient for the first cleanse. 3. Soft, fluffy foam I tried lathering the Calming Relief Acne Foam with just my hands, and it produced a rich, abundant foam easily. You don't need to use much product to create sufficient foam, which means there's no irritation during cleansing. It was great for gently rolling over areas like around the eyes, nasolabial folds, and nose without any discomfort. Also, because it lathers so well, rinsing with water caused no irritation to the face. 4. Subtle fragrance Personally, I don't prefer products with strong scents, so I always smell a product when I first use it. When I first squeezed out Care Zone's Calming Relief Acne Foam, there was a subtle, light scent that actually improved my mood. Moreover, the scent doesn't linger during cleansing, so I think even those who prefer unscented products could use this without any issues.
ConsFor someone like me who wears light makeup, this product was very satisfying, but if I had to point out any drawbacks: 1. Cleansing effectiveness doesn't remove mascara The Calming Relief Acne Foam alone didn't completely remove mascara products. While it cleanly removed other eye makeup products, mascara left traces behind, so an eye makeup remover would be necessary. 2. Slightly disappointing 'squeaky clean' feeling for oily skin When my husband, who has oily skin, tried it, he found the lack of a 'squeaky clean' feeling after cleansing a bit disappointing. He rarely experiences deep dryness even in winter, so he found this aspect a bit unsatisfactory.
