The brush's application is great! It doesn't split and seems to work well. The color is a letdown! I was using matte black before and wanted something that screamed "eyeliner!" I intended to buy brown but didn't realize this was "natural" and hastily purchased it based on the brown label. My mistake, I suppose... I was expecting a matte brown, so this doesn't suit me. This ash brown is... well, it's less ashy and more like a watered-down shade? The swatch in the photo is pretty accurate to real life. As a result, it's much lighter than using eyeshadow or gel liner for a more intense look. It fades over time, appearing as if it's been wiped off. No matter how many times I apply it or how much pressure I use, I can't get rid of that washed-out color. Be careful when choosing! Check if the word "natural" is on the label or not!
