I used up the entire 100ml tube. It's fascinating how it has a gel-cream texture but feels so hydrating. I love that it's fragrance-free and absorbs well. It might not be the best match for products that are very rich in oils.

This cream is perfect for the dry weather we've been having lately. The scent isn't overpowering, and I love the rich, creamy texture. While it's slightly sticky, I didn't find it bothersome at all.

There's nothing to dislike about it, which is why I've been using it as my go-to moisturizer for years.

The moisturizing formula absorbs well and isn't irritating. I love that it doesn't cause pilling when I apply makeup afterwards.

It's expensive. But it's okay if you buy it on Coupang since it's cheaper there. I recommend Coupang.

Using this alone will definitely leave you dry!!! Unless you have extremely oily skin, remember there's a whole Phyto Aqua line.
There's a lighter emulsion that goes on before this cream.
Make sure to buy and apply the emulsion first, then follow with this cream.
Do that, and you won't feel dry even with makeup on or in winter!
You don't necessarily need to use the Phyto line toner > Toners require a lot of product, and this one's truly terrible value for money. I recommend getting a large bottle of another gentle, popular toner and applying 3-4 layers generously.

If the price is absolutely out of the question,
Beyond has an 'Angel' Aqua moisture line.
I've tried it, and it feels almost the same with similar hydration, but much better value for money, so I'd recommend that line.

But honestly, nothing beats how gentle this is.
As someone with extremely sensitive skin, eczema, and dermatitis,
I can confidently say the Phyto Aqua line is the gentlest of the gentle.
I've been there, so for those struggling with skin issues or sensitive souls still searching for their perfect skincare routine, I absolutely, positively, 100% recommend this!

1. When I first tried this cream, I was younger, less dry, and had oilier skin. It was summer too, which made it worse. Back then, the cream felt too heavy, and I regretted buying it. But because my skin got dry from acne medication, this cream ended up working perfectly with the acne ointment, and that's how it became a staple. So, if you have oily skin, you might find it too heavy.

2. As I'm getting older, my skin is becoming drier, so now I use it best in summer. While this could be seen as an advantage, the fact that it doesn't fully address deep dryness in winter is a drawback.

3. Possibly due to the hyaluronic acid, there's a sticky feeling. It does get better over time, but you need to put effort into absorption. If you apply makeup before it's fully absorbed, it could be a major drawback.

4. It might sting a bit when your skin is sensitive. Interestingly, while this cream has never made my skin sensitive - it's that gentle - on days when my skin is acting up, it can feel a bit tingly. It's hard to criticize this though, because on those days, applying just this cream and some dermatitis ointment actually helps my skin recover. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the cream itself or just a normal reaction.

I've been using this cream consistently since before its reformulation, and it still works great for me even after the update. I've gone through several bottles. Whenever I try to switch to something else, my skin's oil-moisture balance gets thrown off immediately, and I end up returning to this cream like a salmon swimming upstream. So far, nothing else has matched this cream's ability to balance my skin's oil and moisture levels.

Now that I'm getting older and my skin has become drier than before, this cream works best for me in summer out of all four seasons. During periods when my skin is oilier than usual, I mix in a bit of toner. When it's drier, I layer my skincare carefully, apply this, and then top it off with a richer cream. If you have combination dehydrated skin, you can use this year-round. For oily skin types, it's best for winter use. However, I wouldn't recommend it for very oily teenage skin, but I do recommend it for those undergoing acne treatment.

For those with seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea who experience itching when their skin dries out during sleep, applying this cream like a sleeping pack in appropriate amounts before bed can be very helpful.

I have combination dehydrated skin + seborrheic dermatitis + rosacea, making my skin extremely sensitive. Due to seborrheic dermatitis, my skin gets very dry in a different way than those with just dry skin. If I neglect my skincare even a little, I develop a lot of dead skin cells and my face turns very red... As someone with combination dehydrated skin, moisturizers with high oil content tend to worsen my dermatitis. However, this cream is primarily water-based, so it doesn't irritate my skin while still providing excellent hydration for my skin type. Usually, even with water-based creams, I can develop small bumps, but with this one, I applied it generously before bed and woke up to find that my bumps had actually decreased. It's also fragrance-free, so I highly recommend it to those with sensitive skin prone to seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea like mine.
