The only downside is the wickedly high price. Despite that, I still find myself wanting to repurchase it.

I love the perfect balance of moisture it provides after application. It helps prevent blackheads on my nose and keeps my skin hydrated without feeling greasy. It seems to be a great match for my skin type.

While I like everything else about it, the scent is a major drawback. It's supposed to be herbal, but it smells more like strong medicinal herbs, which is bothersome every time I use it

The fragrance is really quite peculiar, with an intense, almost piercing scent. Personally, I don't think I'm a fan of Sisley's strong signature scent. Among similar high-end brands that focus on plant-based ingredients, I find that Fresh suits me better than Sisley. While Fresh cosmetics also have strong fragrances, they work well for me.

I once tried Sisley's Essence Emulsion a while back, and it felt like it fundamentally transformed my skin. I had such fond memories of it. After it was discontinued, I noticed it seems to have been renewed. It's now called 'Advanced Formula' and the ingredients appear to have changed, which I find a bit disappointing. The feeling when applying it is quite different now, unfortunately.
