If you want a dewy look, I recommend the Gleam version over the Water Velvet. If you prefer a hydrated but matte finish, go for the Water Velvet!

It's a shame there's no shade 23...
When I used the Gleam version, shade 23 was a bit too dark and had a yellow base which caused some darkening, so I bought shade 22 this time, but it's a bit light. I compared Blanc Diva's shade 22 with other brands' shade 21 cushions, and there wasn't much difference. Blanc Diva is really great in every aspect, but the shade range is a bit disappointing.

I've been using the Blanc Diva Gleam Cushion religiously, and with summer approaching and my current one almost empty, I immediately bought the set after seeing Seo-no's TikTok video. As expected, Blanc Diva doesn't disappoint! While I'm truly moved to tears by the incredible skin finish, let me first give you an introduction.

You should know that while I have good skin, I deal with dead skin cell issues and have combination dehydrated skin that's a bit drier than others but still manages to produce oil. This means that no matter what I use, I struggle with lasting power, darkening, patchiness, and caking - it's quite a mess! So I was really unsure if a semi-matte finish would work for me, but our beloved Blanc Diva never fails to impress.

While this applies to all Blanc Diva cushions, unlike other dewy cushions, it doesn't have that uncomfortable stickiness that makes your hair stick to your face. Instead, you feel a genuinely cool and refreshing hydration - that's the biggest advantage and why I've settled on Blanc Diva. We've all had those humid summer days when we don't want to go out because our hair sticks to our face and our skin looks more greasy than glowy, right?

But this cushion feels incredibly cool upon application, more like wiping your face with a water-soaked sponge. It's so refreshing, and your hair doesn't stick to your face, making you feel great when you go out. I was worried it might be drying because it's semi-matte, but it feels really hydrating when you apply it, and if you pat it in quickly, it becomes pleasantly matte. I think it's a perfect cushion for summer.

Blanc Diva is known for its excellent lasting power and skin finish. Even in school, where everything tends to get patchy over time, it maintains a beautiful glow. Compared to my friends' makeup, the glow and coverage definitely stand out even as time passes. I need fewer touch-ups, and even when I do, I don't need to remove and reapply - just a few pats and it's back to normal. It's possible to be a glowing egg-shell human for 24 hours!

While I don't have acne or pimples, I do have some blemishes and dark circles that are almost purple. I love that just one application covers everything completely. It's hydrating yet has good coverage, so you don't need to apply multiple layers, which allows your skin to breathe easier.

I've tried Pony Effect, Espoir, April Skin, and Giverny, but this one takes the crown! I was worried about the dry reviews, but it's not an issue at all. My hair doesn't stick to my face, it's not drying in the slightest, covers blemishes like a dream, and evens out my complexion beautifully. It's perfect as a summer cushion, even for dry skin types.

Just be careful not to apply too much skincare underneath - a light layer of toner, a dab of moisturizer, and sunscreen is plenty. Make sure to let your skincare absorb fully before applying.

I'm sticking with this from now on. There's a tiny bit of oxidation, but nothing major. Without sunscreen, oxidation happens immediately, but with proper sun protection, it's barely noticeable. Touch-ups blend seamlessly too. I'm in love! But please, can we get a refill set?
