Luckily, I won this from The Hwahae Testers and used it well. My skin is combination dehydrated with an oily T-zone and butterfly zone. I usually use matte/semi-matte foundation formulas. - Brightening: It doesn't make you excessively pale, so it's great as a natural base. - Longevity: It improves the staying power compared to wearing nothing. It seemed to slow down the darkening process. - Skin texture: I love that powdery feeling, and this delivers exactly that. I would repurchase this product.
Cons- Scent: This is personal preference, but I don't like fragranced cosmetics. This one has a noticeable scent and is quite assertive. - Pilling: It's a bit powdery, and since my eye area and U-zone are dry, it tends to pill slightly even with a thorough skincare routine. - Emphasizes dead skin cells: Because it creates a powdery finish, it can make any slight flakiness more noticeable. Around the eyes or in dry areas, if not applied carefully over proper skincare, it can emphasize fine lines or create a slightly cracked appearance. However, this might be because I prefer a light application. Those who use more hydrating foundations might not experience these issues.

Color The purple-tinted base really makes your face look porcelain-like, so I was extremely satisfied with the color. 2. Application It goes on lightly without feeling sticky, which I really liked. 3. Scent The fragrance isn't overpowering, making it pleasant for everyday use.
Cons1. Pilling I'm not sure if it's incompatible with my current cushion, but by evening, it always emphasizes dead skin cells and pills terribly. I thought my cushion was the problem. However, when I went out wearing only this product without the cushion, I came home in the evening to find it pilling again... sigh. I don't have many UV-protective makeup bases, so I had high hopes when I was selected for The Hwahae Testers. Unfortunately, my satisfaction is lower than expected.
TipYou need to ensure your skincare routine is solid before applying this product.

Skin type: Sensitive + Very dry. Application: Unlike typical mineral sunscreens that can feel stiff, this one applies smoothly and moisturizes without feeling sticky or greasy, leaving a soft matte finish. Satisfaction: It offers both UV protection and brightening effects, making it perfect for casual outings. It's great for blending the skin tone between face and neck, and seems to effectively neutralize both redness and sallowness in the complexion.
ConsFeel on skin: There's significant white cast. As time passes, it tends to settle into creases around the nose and emphasize dead skin cells, so it might be more suitable for summer use rather than autumn or winter. Scent: The characteristic mineral sunscreen smell is quite strong.
TipFor those with dry skin, I highly recommend applying a thorough skincare routine before using this product. I found that mixing it with a slightly thick serum after my skincare routine helped prevent any dryness and allowed for a smooth, hydrating application.

After application, it doesn't feel greasy nor does it cause any deep dryness. When applied in small amounts, it provides a nice brightening effect to even out the complexion.
ConsWhen I applied it generously like sunscreen, it left a whitish cast... It seems you need to use only small amounts. Also, while it felt fine initially, I noticed later that it accentuated skin texture and made my skin look dry.

I was worried about my redness-prone skin, but it evened out my complexion naturally. As it's a makeup base, it seems to brighten more than typical brightening moisturizers. : Recommended for those who skip foundation but want to even their skin tone after applying sunscreen. - Matte Finish: : With combination skin, I usually need oil blotting sheets or powder even after sunscreen. This product leaves a matte finish, eliminating the need for powder to control shine. : It works great on areas prone to oiliness or needing color correction before foundation application. - Suitable for Sensitive Skin: : As someone with sensitive skin prone to occasional dermatitis, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin irritation during use.
Cons- Not recommended for those with very dark skin tones or those looking to use it as a sunscreen replacement in the recommended sunscreen amount. It's brighter than typical brightening moisturizers, so even on lighter skin, it can look too pale if applied liberally, requiring application down to the neck. When using as a makeup base, careful amount control is necessary due to its brightening effect. - The matte finish might emphasize dead skin cells on dry skin types.
Tip- Amount control is crucial. It's too bright for standalone use as a sunscreen replacement. Recommended for tone correction after sunscreen or as a brightening makeup base. - Using a puff instead of fingers allows for a smoother, pill-free application with a matte finish.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros- Scent: As someone sensitive to fragrances, I loved that this has almost no scent, making it very comfortable to use. - Absorbs: It applies smoothly yet firmly, leaving a silky finish. - Sticky: As a makeup base, it's completely free of stickiness and rich feeling. - Sun protection: High SPF50+ and PA++++ rating. - No eye irritation: Being a mineral sunscreen, there's absolutely no burning sensation around the eyes. - Benefits: Dual-function for brightening and anti-wrinkle. - Evens skin tone: It has a slight purple tint that creates a cool complexion and naturally brightens your skin. It's not an artificial white cast! - Packaging: The container is sturdy. - Price: Considering its skin tone evening effect, dual brightening and anti-wrinkle functions, I think it's very reasonably priced!
Cons- Ingredients: With over 60 ingredients, it may cause allergic reactions, so those with super sensitive skin should patch test first. - Dryness: If you don't have a solid skincare routine, it can emphasize dead skin cells. Not recommended for dry skin types.
TipThe shelf life is 3 years.

Texture: Being a mineral sunscreen, it's incredibly gentle on the skin. There's no stinging sensation around the eyes, so I can apply it liberally without worry! As someone with oily, blemish-prone skin on my cheeks, I've often found that regular sunscreens can cause breakouts due to their oil content. However, when I used only this sunscreen, I didn't experience any blemishes - it was fantastic! Formulation: The texture itself is smooth, but it feels a bit thick when applied. To ensure even coverage and prevent clumping, I gently pat it onto my skin multiple times.
ConsThe formulation is a bit on the thick side, so if you're not careful when applying, it can pill or accentuate dead skin cells... Especially when used as a base, it tends to clump with matte cushions or foundations. However, it's so clearly non-irritating that I keep using it despite these drawbacks!
TipMake sure to amp up the hydration in your skincare routine before applying makeup! Since I typically go for a matte makeup look and this product itself leans towards the matte side, I skip all-over powder and only lightly dust it on my eyebrows, under-eye area, and sides of my nose when using this sunscreen. When using this product, it's crucial to pay extra attention to keeping your skin from getting dehydrated.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsIt seems to have a makeup base function that helps correct and even out the skin tone. Despite the hot summer weather when I sweat a lot, I was satisfied that it didn't feel greasy or cause pilling. It would likely suit those looking for a matte sun base or people with oily skin.
ConsAs I have very dry combination dehydrated skin, it accentuated my dead skin cells. You might need to have a very thorough skincare routine before using this. While it may work well for those with oily skin in the summer, it doesn't seem to live up to its 'ultra soothing' name. If you were expecting something extremely hydrating, you might be disappointed.

Application: 5/5 It has a soft, light purple tint with a smooth sunscreen texture. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling hydrated upon initial application. 2. Brightening effect: 3/5 While it's not specifically a high-coverage product, I appreciated its subtle brightening effect that gives the skin a natural-looking finish. It's perfect for casual outings when you want something quick and easy to apply.
ConsCons: 1. Hydration: 2/5 Although it absorbs well without stickiness, leaving a matte finish, it's not hydrating enough to use on its own. As time passes, the skin feels quite dry, which can accentuate dead skin cells. It's especially noticeable around the nose, forehead, and mouth areas. I'd recommend applying a generous amount of moisturizer or essence beforehand. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry or very dry skin types. 2. Fragrance: 2/5 As someone with a sensitive nose, I noticed a slightly artificial cosmetic scent. Those who are particular about fragrances might have mixed feelings about this. 3. Pilling: 1/5 After applying skincare, there's some pilling when you try to apply makeup over it. To avoid this, make sure the product is completely dry before applying makeup, or use a thin layer and spread it evenly. 4. Cleansing: 1/5 I tried washing it off with just water after using it alone, but it doesn't come off easily. It's quite water-resistant, so you'll need to use an oil cleanser or cleansing foam to remove it properly.
TipDue to the potential for dead skin cell buildup and pilling during makeup application, it's crucial to use the right amount and ensure proper hydration. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin as it might be too drying for them.

I loved that it wasn't sticky. It finishes with a matte feel without being greasy, leaving a natural glow. It felt more like a brightening moisturizer than a sunscreen. 💜 Brightening Effect Initially, it has a purple tint, but it appears white when spread. It definitely makes your complexion look brighter without seeming unnatural. It's perfect for those days when you want to go out comfortably but don't want to be bare-faced. It's convenient as you only need to apply this one product. Being white, it doesn't transfer to masks. For reference, the second photo I attached is before application, and the third is after. 💜 As a Base The fourth photo shows the base + cushion (matte finish). Compared to applying just the cushion, it seems to even out yellow and red tones, making the skin look more uniform and bright. Applying the cushion over this base was smoother and less dry. It also seemed to improve longevity. 💜 Scent It's my first time encountering this scent, but it's like a subtle herbal fragrance. It's not fruity or a harsh chemical smell. 💜 Cleansing As expected from a sun product, it repels water. Using only a gentle foam cleanser leaves some residue in wrinkles and skin texture. You need to use a milk or oil cleanser before the foam cleanser for a double cleanse. 💜 Blemishes I liked that it felt gentle and didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsIt's not extremely hydrating, so it can feel a bit dry when applying and may clump. It's fine if you spread it well and layer it. It tends to cling to and highlight areas with dead skin cells. It also sticks to your hands when applying and is difficult to wash off with water, which is inconvenient. While it's definitely less irritating than other sun products, there's still a very slight eye irritation.
TipIt's important to control the amount well. Too little makes it dry and stiff, while too much leads to pilling and clumping. Since it can highlight dead skin cells, it's crucial to exfoliate the night before and apply a moisturizing cream well. It's good to use a cleansing water or do a morning cleanse to remove dead skin cells before application.
