There are no drawbacks. It's great for lip care. Nivea truly excels when it comes to lip balms.

It's wonderfully hydrating and moisturizing, yet leaves a refreshingly light finish.

First of all, the scent is just too much... When I smell it, it reminds me of that car sickness feeling, so I rarely use it.

I bought it simply because the packaging is so beautiful. I didn't even care about its performance. The navy color with a subtle shimmer makes it sparkle, and it's genuinely, truly gorgeous.

Because it's so light, the moisturizing effect isn't very good. I can feel that I've applied it, but I'm not sure if it's actually functioning as a lip balm

1. Lacks hydration
This is probably the biggest drawback - a lip balm you apply for hydration doesn't seem to provide much moisture. It wears off quickly with saliva, so you need to reapply frequently, which is inconvenient. It almost feels like it's making my lips even drier, so I think Vaseline might be a better option.

As someone who's never used lip balm before and always struggled through winter, this is the first one I've tried.

1. Colorless and fragrance-free
As a man, using a tinted lip balm for moisturizing could draw unwanted attention, but this product is colorless, so I could apply it comfortably in public. It's also fragrance-free, which didn't cause any discomfort.

2. Generous amount
Recently, due to wearing masks because of COVID-19, I haven't had issues with chapped lips, so I haven't been using lip balm much. However, I've been using this same tube for years whenever my lips get dry, and there's still plenty left.

3. Simple design
As a guy, if the design is too flashy or elaborate, it can feel awkward to carry around or apply. The simple design of this product makes it easy to carry and use without a second thought in everyday situations.
