  I was searching for a hydrating first essence and came across this one. True to its essence-toner nature, it's moisturizing even with just one application. Applying it twice makes it even more hydrating, and when I spread it on my face, it feels smooth and incredibly comfortable to use. Since summer, I've been struggling with redness, itching, and tingling on my eyelids. Even when I tried my usual products or bought new ones, they would sting. But this toner doesn't irritate at all. In fact, my skin has now calmed down and returned to normal. Not just for my eyelids, but as someone in their mid-30s whose skin has become super sensitive, I usually experience tingling if there's even one harmful or allergenic ingredient. However, this causes no irritation. I've been using it for 4 days now without any sensitivity. Additionally, as I have a darker complexion, I look for brightening ingredients. This contains 3% niacinamide, so I'm hoping for some brightening effects.

  Yesterday it was on a one-day special for 9,900 won on Hwahae. I wish they'd do that offer again!

  Tip

  I think it might work well as a mask if your skin feels heated or becomes sensitive in the summer. It could help calm things down, just like it did for my eyelids.

  I usually only use toner and rarely use a separate skin lotion, but I decided to buy this essence skin. Despite being a skin lotion, it feels packed with nourishment. After applying, my skin feels hydrated and comfortable.

  Pros

  Even with just a small amount, it makes my skin so moisturized and smooth, I love it! When first applied to dry skin, it feels a bit sticky, but after continuous use, it's not sticky at all. It's great to use under sunscreen too. I'm so pleased that I plan to keep using it. I bought it on sale this time because it was cheaper, and I'm extremely satisfied.

  Cons

  I wish it could always be this price! Or at least have sales more often. Apart from the regular price being a bit too high, everything else is great!

  As a gentle, slightly acidic toner, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. With my sensitive skin, I chose this fragrance-free and colorant-free product to avoid any irritation. My dry skin feels deeply hydrated without any stickiness when I apply this toner, and it doesn't leave a matte finish but instead fills my skin with moisture. The rice callus culture extract seems to boost skin energy and vitality, giving my complexion a radiant glow. It appears to suit my sensitive skin well. On days when my skin feels extra sensitive, using this as a toner pack provides excellent soothing effects.
