  Pros

  I used to be someone who would only use Estée Lauder foundation until I had five empty bottles. But lately, foundation has become so expensive that I decided to look for a more affordable option. That's when I discovered this product, and now I understand why it's so popular! First off, the coverage is excellent. I have a naturally flushed complexion, but this foundation covers the redness beautifully. Despite my skin being on the oily side, when I apply it in the morning, it still looks lovely by the time I get home in the evening. It wears off gracefully! At this price point, I'm definitely switching from Estée Lauder to VDL without a second thought.

  Cons

  One slight disappointment is that it transfers easily when you touch your face. Also, it doesn't hide skin texture very well, so smoothing out uneven areas is a must before application!

  Tip

  For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, you might want to layer a hydrating moisturizer underneath for better results. The foundation works hard to even out your complexion, but it's always good to prep your skin first for that perfect Inner Glow.

  Pros

  The coverage is truly excellent, and it definitely doesn't break down easily! It sets quickly too. I apply it swiftly with a spatula, then pat it on with a chubby puff, and it goes on smoothly. Just be careful to control the amount so it doesn't get too thick.

  Cons

  I can't say it doesn't transfer at all, but I didn't notice any significant fading.

  Tip

  I'm between shades 21-22, and V01 was too light for me. I bought V02 as well, but that was too dark and yellow. Mixing them half-and-half gives me the perfect match!

  Pros

  I've been using this product since last November after sticking with no-makeup looks for 3-4 years. The coverage is medium to high. I use shades 19-21, and the A02 color is just perfect. It doesn't make my face look overly pink, nor does it leave a yellow tinge. I apply it gently with a brush over sunscreen, then pat it in with a puff. This creates a natural look, and I can add an extra layer where more coverage is needed. It stays put even when I sweat and doesn't break down. With a foundation brush, a slightly damp puff, and some no-sebum powder, I don't need touch-ups all day long (I have normal skin).

  Cons

  There's not much to complain about, but if you don't control the amount well, it might look a bit heavy.

  Tip

  I use the Fillimilli foundation brush, a damp diamond puff (squeezed out well), and Innisfree's no-sebum powder.

  First off, this product is absolutely top-notch in every aspect - from how it applies, to its coverage, how well it adheres to the skin, and its staying power. There was no pilling around the nose or any patchiness. The finish looked just as flawless 10 hours later as it did right after application. A slight natural oil came through over time, which actually made it look even more beautiful. I chose the cool-toned shade 21, which was perfect for me. It has a slight pink base that creates a radiant look without any darkening effect. On days I wore this, I received so many compliments on how gorgeous my skin looked!

  Cons

  I have to warn you, this product caused my skin to break out severely the very next day after using it. It's guaranteed to trigger blemishes - the cosmetic irritants in this are off the charts. Usually, high-quality cushions have maybe 0-1 cautionary ingredients, and even average ones typically don't exceed 2-3. But when I checked this app, I was shocked to find over 10 ingredients flagged as potentially irritating or allergenic. While everything else about it might be great, I really can't recommend it due to the problematic formulation. It's such a shame about the ingredients...

  I'm on my third bottle of this product and absolutely loving it! This was my first time trying a VDL foundation, and I can confidently say it outperforms cushion foundations. The adherence to the skin is noticeably better, and it provides decent coverage without any fuss.

  Cons

  For those with dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this for winter use. As someone with combination to oily skin, it doesn't affect me, but it might not be ideal for others.
