  <The Hwahae Testers Review> Skin type: Oily with occasional dryness on cheeks Heavy products and low pH products cause blemishes My face gets extremely shiny in the afternoon, so I was eager to try the Celadix Ampoule since it claims to improve sebum and oil-moisture balance! The texture is runny but not as light as water - it has a bit of viscosity. I used it morning and night for a week, then stopped for the last 3 days. For 10 days, I didn't touch up my makeup and compared my skin condition around 5 PM. There was noticeably less oil on the days I used the product. On days without it, oil appeared on my nose, forehead, and cheeks. With the product, oil was only visible on my nose and forehead. So I applied an extra layer on my nose and forehead in the morning. This nearly eliminated oil on my forehead, with just a hint remaining on my nose. It didn't feel heavy or cause pilling when applied before makeup in the morning. I'd recommend those with oily skin give this a try.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's due to the recent hot weather or this product, but I've developed some reddish blemishes on my forehead. I couldn't really tell if my sebum became softer as the product description claimed. Also, I think the price is a bit steep.

  Tip

  My routine was: toner + skin booster + squalane or panthenol ampoule (or skipped) + 131 ampoule + moisturizer.

  Pros

  The packaging is neat, and the dropper comes separately wrapped. I really appreciated that aspect. The scent isn't bad, but this product just didn't work well for me. What I noticed while using it is that the texture isn't watery, but more like clear mucus, so it feels a bit sticky when applied. I can't say it's great for summer use. Since the product didn't suit me, I don't think there were any positives from using it.

  For a blemish serum, the sticky texture felt unpleasant when applying. The worst part was waking up the next day to a breakout party. Tiny blemishes appeared all over. When I stopped using it, my skin cleared up. I tried again after a break, but the next day, new blemishes popped up everywhere. Instead of helping with blemishes, it caused them. I was shocked after the first application, and it got out of hand. I tried again just to be sure, but the same thing happened. This product left me with acne scars. It's really unfortunate that it doesn't suit my skin at all.

  For sensitive, combination, and combination dehydrated skin (prone to redness when irritated) I really liked that the product comes in a generous size, with plenty of serum accessible through the dropper. The scent is pleasant and inoffensive. The ingredients and effects looked promising, so I thought it would be perfect for my tired skin prone to excess oil production in hot weather. As you can see in the photo, the serum has a runny consistency but absorbs well without feeling sticky. It's not too lightweight either, leaving the skin feeling moisturized without any tightness. Since it's a targeted treatment, I focused on specific areas. Applying it to my T-zone, where I tend to get oily, left my skin feeling fresh and balanced.

  On the third day of use, I applied the serum to my cheeks, under my chin, and around my eyes, avoiding the T-zone. I let it absorb and went out wearing makeup. When I returned home, I was shocked to find my skin feeling tight and looking completely inflamed, as shown in the photo. It seems I had a severe allergic reaction. My skin was in great condition before, but now it's red, itchy, and just... a mess. I'm so disappointed it didn't work for me like it did for others.

  Tip

  Strangely, my forehead and nose area are fine! However, the serum just doesn't agree with the thinner skin on my cheeks, around my eyes, and under my chin where there's less oil production. If you're looking to manage oily areas during summer, it might be worth trying, but proceed with caution.

  May 28 - June 11 Used for 15 days, morning and night after cleansing *The first day's photo appears reddish due to camera issues, but please disregard the color. After using the product, some blemishes appeared but subsided within 5 days. While we can't rule out other factors causing the blemishes, considering my usual recovery time (over a week), this product seems to have helped clear them up faster. I didn't experience any particular discomfort while using the product.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, on the fourth day of use, a large cystic acne appeared, followed by two more on the fifth day, despite not having any major blemishes recently. By the ninth day, they had all subsided. If we were to attribute these blemishes to this product, it would be a disappointing aspect. It's disappointing that I couldn't notice any significant improvement in my skin or reduction in sebum compared to before using the product.

  Tip

  As this product isn't particularly rich in nutrients, you might feel dry if you skip your moisturizer while using it.

  I have slightly oily, blemish-prone, and sensitive skin. I applied to be a Hwahae Tester hoping this product might help with the blackheads on my nose, since it's supposed to control sebum. *Application: It applies smoothly without any fuss! It's not sticky at all and feels like it sets just right on the skin. *User experience: The texture is perfect - not too greasy, not too light. It feels just right for everyday use. Unfortunately, I had to stop using it because my skin became red. It's a shame I couldn't see if it had any effect on my blackheads.

  *Slight redness...? My skin is extremely sensitive, and it tends to react if even one ingredient doesn't agree with it. I'm not sure what exactly caused it, but I always seem to have a reaction when using sebum-control products. So, as expected, my skin became slightly red when I used this.

  As someone with oily skin, I constantly deal with clogged pores, especially on my nose, and lots of whiteheads. My large pores due to excess sebum production have been a major source of stress, so I decided to try this product with the goal of reducing oiliness. The texture of this serum strikes a nice balance - not too watery or sticky, making it comfortable and easy to apply. Immediately after application, it feels non-sticky and deeply hydrating. I initially used it after toner, but later tried it on its own. Despite my skin being prone to dehydration, I didn't experience any deep dryness or tightness even when using just this product. It provided sufficient hydration on its own. My skin looked great the morning after using it at night. Checking my pores and whiteheads, I was pleased to find no excess oil coming out when I tried to squeeze. While I can't speak to pore-tightening or whitehead reduction due to my short trial period (more on that below), the serum's absorption was definitely impressive.

  Cons

  While my skin looked amazing the day after use, I unfortunately broke out two days later. Thinking it might be due to combining it with my usual toner, I paused use to let my skin calm down. A few days later, I tried again using only this serum. Once more, my skin was fine the next day but started breaking out slightly two days after. I'm not sure if it's an ingredient that doesn't agree with my skin or if it's throwing off my skin's balance somehow, but I've stopped using it for now. I think I'll need to wait until my skin is completely calm before giving it another try and reassessing.

  Tip

  This serum seems like it would work well under makeup too. For those whose skin agrees with the ingredients, consistent use could help achieve the goal of reducing excess sebum.

It spreads easily and smoothly when you apply it. Personally, I'm not a fan of overly thick serums, so I found this one comfortable to use without feeling heavy. 2. Absorption This serum absorbs quite rapidly into the skin. As someone who tends to break out when using rich serums that don't absorb well and just sit on top of the skin, I prefer fast-absorbing products like this one. Irritation My skin tends to get red and itchy when I use products that don't agree with me, but I didn't experience any of that with this serum. Pore Management Effectiveness As the weather has gotten warmer and my skin has become oilier, I haven't noticed any significant visible effects from using this product. Of course, pore management isn't something that can be easily achieved with skincare alone, but compared to other cooling pore care products that at least give a sensation of reducing pore temperature, this one doesn't feel much different from applying a regular hydrating serum.

  Here's my review after using it for 3 days! The product absorbs well and has good application.

  Cons

  While I didn't experience any blemishes after the first day, small pimples started appearing on the second day. I stopped using it after the third day... Now I have severe breakouts around my mouth, nose, forehead, and chin, so I don't think I'll be able to use it at all. I only added this Celadix ampoule to my existing skincare routine without changing anything else, so... I believe this product caused my skin to break out. For those with super sensitive skin and combination dehydrated skin, I recommend patch testing before use.
