It really soothes cracked and painful sensitive lips. I found it incredibly helpful. There aren't many downsides, but being an international product, it might be a bit tricky to get your hands on. - ol******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I really like this lip balm. It has just the right consistency, so it doesn't slide into your mouth easily. There's no scent, so even if it gets in your mouth, it's not unpleasant at all. The moisturizing effect is quite good, and you get a generous amount. It doesn't leave a greasy shine either, making it perfect for daily use. It's a bit on the pricier side, even when buying online, and it's not widely available in many places. - bm********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
The unscented tube lip balm is the perfect entry-level product and the crown jewel of lip balms... two thumbs up! The only downside is that you can't buy it locally - you have to order it from overseas - hj******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2025
My lips always crack in winter. Sometimes they even bleed, leaving a scar in the middle that's still visible. I've tried all sorts of lip balms that people rave about, but nothing compares to this. If you don't like slippery textures, this might not be for you. But when your lips are painfully chapped, it feels like it's creating a protective barrier. I've tried a similar silver-colored one from the pharmacy, but it doesn't adhere well and tastes strange if it gets in your mouth. Eucerin Aquaphor seems to have great adherence and hydration. Apply it to sore lips at night, and they're soft by morning. I bought the regular Aquaphor from overseas, but it came in this design - it's the same product, right? The tube type is way more hydrating than stick or balm types. Highly recommend for anyone with chapped lips. It's a shame it's hard to find in stores here. I had to order it from overseas. Apply it in layers, like you're layering skincare. Massage it in gently to soften dead skin cells. Gently remove any flakes, then apply a thick layer like a mask. Covering with plastic wrap can improve absorption. - ye********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 27, 2025
Use this when you really need an SOS for your lips! When your lips get rough and flaky with dead skin cells, apply a generous amount to your lips before bed after cleansing. The next morning, about 80% of the dead skin will be gone. This is for real! The amount is too small. I wish they would make it just a bit bigger. Wash your face before bed, apply a thick layer, and sleep! - da*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 9, 2024
This is hands down the best lip balm I've ever used. My lips used to crack and dry out every single day of the year, making lip balm an absolute necessity. Almost every product on the market failed to address the underlying dead skin cells issue. However, this product effectively tackles the dead skin cells problem, and I no longer suffer from cheilitis! I'm overjoyed that I can now confidently wear lip products without worry. There are absolutely no downsides! If I had to mention something, it would be that it's only available online, which can be a bit inconvenient, as others have pointed out. - ni********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 8, 2024
This is hands down the best lip balm I've ever tried. Other lip balms tend to dry out quickly... But this one doesn't do that at all. It doesn't just leave an oily sheen on your lips, it actually makes them feel moist, which I love. - ba*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2024
I've been searching high and low for a lip balm due to an allergic reaction on my lower lip. I'm hoping this Eucerin one will be a good match. I'll update my review later with more details. Since I've just started using it today, I don't have any strong impressions yet. I'll leave an additional review later. - li*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedNov 2, 2024
As someone who's been battling recurring cold sores for years, this product is a godsend! When I feel that telltale tingle of an impending outbreak, I slather this on before bed, and more often than not, it prevents the cold sore from developing (though it doesn't work every time, unfortunately). The best part? It's the only lip balm that doesn't cause pain when applied during an active outbreak! Most lip balms on the market either 1) feel greasy, 2) cause deep dryness, or 3) both. But this product feels like you're applying a never-drying hydration balm! It's moisturizing without any oiliness, so it doesn't irritate sensitive lips at all - just pure comfort. It's great for the entire lip area, including around the mouth, providing intense hydration without causing any blemishes. Here's my cold sore management routine: At the first sign of an outbreak, cleanse the lips thoroughly and apply Lip Repair >> During the weeping stage, skip moisturizer >> As scabs form and start to dry, cleanse lips again and apply a generous amount of Lip Repair. Following this routine, my cold sores typically clear up within a week! There was a time when I thought this product had been discontinued, and I was absolutely terrified. I sincerely hope it never gets discontinued, ever! In winter, I don't just use it on my lips - I also apply it like a multi-balm to dry nasolabial folds. It's fantastic for combating deep dryness. This is truly a gentle, all-purpose hydration hero! - co*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2024
I was struggling with lip atopic dermatitis, which caused dead skin cells to build up and severe dryness. I had tried almost every popular lip balm on the market, but they all left my lips feeling dry. As a last resort, I tried the Eucerin lip balm, and it was a game-changer! It's incredibly hydrating, and the tube packaging makes it super convenient to use. It's a bit disappointing that this product isn't easily accessible in physical stores. You can only purchase it through the Olive Young app, which limits its availability to the general public.
