  The pads are quite soft and well-soaked with essence, making them very hydrating. They provide an excellent cooling effect when placed on the cheeks during hot flashes. After cleansing, you can feel an immediate boost in hydration, keeping your skin from feeling parched. True to its name, the Metabiome formula contains 7 types of healthy probiotics.   My skin tends to be dry, and this is wonderfully moisturizing for dry skin types! I first wipe my face with the embossed side, then place the smooth side on my cheeks - it feels amazing. The tweezers attached to the lid are also super convenient.

  I can't think of any downsides! If I had to nitpick, I suppose it would be nice if there were more pads in the package...?

  Among the toner pads I've used recently, this one has given me the highest satisfaction! Not only is it hydrating, but most importantly, it's a product that soothes even the most troubled skin that's sensitive and inflamed. I plan to purchase it again once I finish this one. 🍎Skin Type Combination, sensitive skin prone to redness and dermatitis on the cheeks 🍎Packaging The semi-transparent container allows you to see how much product is left without opening the lid! The tweezers inside the cap are firmly fixed, so they don't easily fall in, which is great. The label is easy to remove, making it good for recycling too! 🍎Pad Texture Interestingly, the pads are thin yet plump. One side is smooth while the other has an embossed texture. The pad itself is thin, allowing for good adherence, while the embossed side is plump and holds plenty of toner. The pads are also large, making them perfect for using as a mask by placing the smooth side on each cheek. Even after using as a mask, the embossed side remains moist with toner, allowing you to gently exfoliate thicker areas of skin, acting as an exfoliating toner! 🍎Toner When tilted, you can see the milky white toner in the container. This is a toner pad I highly recommend for those with a damaged skin barrier like me! Other products only provide temporary relief from heat, but the heat comes back worse afterward. I was in a dilemma because I couldn't skip masking due to the intense heat... Among all the toner pads I've tried, this seems to be the only one that doesn't cause the heat to return after use. It doesn't just provide cool hydration, but it genuinely feels soothing. I'm learning how important probiotics are for the skin barrier. Thanks to this, I've become interested not only in toner pads but also in the entire Metabiome series. I recommend this toner pad to those looking for one that can be used without burden on sensitive skin like mine! Especially for those with truly sensitive skin that heats up again after masking, you must try this! It's really moisturizing and excellent for soothing. You can immediately feel the strengthening effect on your skin barrier, making you want to use it every day.

  Cons

  The product is so good that this isn't really a problem, but the tweezers feel a bit stuck? So while it's reassuring, you need to use a bit of force to pull them out. Also, sometimes the pads don't separate easily with just the tweezers, so occasionally you might need to use your hands.

  Tip

  For those with combination skin, be sure to use it as a mask on your U-zone, then flip it over and use the embossed side for exfoliating your T-zone. It's really sufficient. Even after using it as a mask, it's still moist enough to use as an exfoliating toner without drying out.
