I've been using this for about half a year now, and it's really effective at removing makeup! The texture is super rich and it lathers up nicely. Except for the intricate eye makeup, it pretty much removed everything else. After using it, my skin feels incredibly clean and refreshed. If you're someone who loves that squeaky-clean feeling, this product might be perfect for you. As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I found the cleansing effectiveness a bit too strong for me. While it does leave the skin feeling clean, it was almost too much - like it was stripping my skin. I already tend to have dry skin, but this product seemed to exacerbate the dryness even more. Because of this, I couldn't use it in the morning and only used it in the evening to remove sunscreen. Even then, it felt a bit harsh for me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone whose skin easily becomes dry. I think this might work well for those with oily skin! On days when I'm not wearing heavy makeup and just have a light application, this cleanser's strong cleansing power means I can use it alone to remove everything without feeling any residue. While it might be too intense for daily use, there's nothing quite like it when you're in the mood for a deep cleanse. It really works hard to give that thorough clean feeling! - dl*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 12, 2025
For combination dehydrated skin, this is the ultimate in cleansing effectiveness. I've been trying other products since leaving Senka, but I'm tempted to go back. After hearing from others that Senka wasn't good, I've been experimenting with low pH cleansing foams and gentle cleansers. However, I've found that they don't manage dead skin cells or sebum as well. I think once I finish up the products I'm currently using, I'll likely return to this one. There wasn't really anything I found disappointing about it. I'm actually looking forward to using it again. This review highlights the effectiveness of the Senka cleanser for combination dehydrated skin types, particularly in managing dead skin cells and sebum. The reviewer expresses a desire to return to this product after trying alternatives, suggesting its superior performance compared to other cleansers they've used.
