  Skin type: I highly recommend this for those with slightly dry skin like mine, and for anyone looking to brighten their complexion by about one shade! Application: It's incredibly smooth! I've used it both as an exfoliating toner with a cotton pad and as a leave-on toner. It's so gentle that you can apply it directly with your hands. Absorption: Personally, I find it very lightweight. It absorbs immediately without leaving any residue, which I absolutely love. Review: I've repurchased this product three times and find myself reaching for it every winter! While you might not see instant results, after about 3-4 weeks of use, you'll notice your complexion becoming brighter. In my experience, among vitamin-based brightening products, this has been the gentlest on my skin, causing no tingling sensation. I've actually tried the entire yuzu product line including the cream and toner, and this toner is truly one of my favorites.

  Cons

  On rare occasions, when my skin is in really poor condition or extremely dry, I might feel a slight tingling sensation upon application. However, this usually subsides when I layer it with a more hydrating cream.

  I tried this product as a gratis item when I bought carrot pads from Skinfood, and I loved it so much for calming blemishes that I decided to purchase it! It feels like I saw soothing effects in just one day!

  Cons

  It stings a bit when applied to areas with wounds, which made me wonder if I should stop using it. But the calming effects are so good that I keep using it.

  I always use this product. When my skin feels dry, applying it twice makes it even more hydrating and wonderful. On lazy days, I just apply this one product and I'm done. Even then, my skin doesn't feel particularly tight or uncomfortable.

  Cons

  There's nothing I dislike about it... If I had to pick something, when my skin is very dehydrated or I have blemishes, it might sting a little at first application. But other than that, I have no complaints.

  Tip

  When your skin is dry, applying it twice leaves it nicely hydrated. In summer, I recommend applying it just once.

  Hmm... There's nothing really. Maybe it's better that I didn't feel anything at all. Oh, it felt a bit rich when applying to the face, but if there's any advantage, it might be that it washes off easily with water.

  Cons

  I tend to be a bit sensitive to niacinamide, and as soon as I applied it, my entire face turned bright red and felt slightly tingly. I showed my husband, and he said my face was getting redder even as I was talking, and told me to wash it off with water immediately. It's the first time I've experienced such a dramatic change. I won't use it again because of the rich feeling too. I ended up throwing it away...

  Tip

  For those sensitive to niacinamide, I'd recommend... not using this product at all.

  Pros

  I used this when I was in elementary school and remember how wonderfully it brightened my skin. Now as an adult, I decided to try it again! The scent is delightfully fresh, and I feel like my complexion has slightly improved.

  Cons

  For a blemish-targeting toner, it's not quite there. Perhaps due to its whitening effects, it caused some irritation and actually seemed to bring out more impurities, including cystic acne. It also has a bit of a tingling sensation.

  Tip

  I'd recommend not using this together with a vitamin serum. The combination of irritants feels like too much, even for my skin which isn't particularly sensitive. When used together, it seemed to be a bit harsh on my skin.

  You can get great value for money when you buy this during a sale. Plus, the packaging is really pretty!

  Cons

  I felt a tingling sensation from the moment I applied it. I guess it's because it's a yuzu product, so there was a bit of irritation. Also, it left my skin feeling quite oily, which wasn't ideal for my super oily skin type. Unfortunately, this product just didn't work for me.
