The lack of strong fragrance made it comfortable to use even during early pregnancy morning sickness. I chose it for its decent ingredients too.
ConsThe container feels a bit flimsy. Be careful as it tends to drip, leaving drops on the floor while using. Compared to pricier products, it doesn't absorb quite as well into the skin. Right after application, you need to massage it in, or it feels like it's just sitting on top of your skin.

This review is based on 10 days of use by The Hwahae Testers from 4/22 to 5/1. Scent: ★★★ It has a fresh scent reminiscent of tea tree or mint (I checked the ingredients, maybe it's rosemary?). The fragrance dissipates quickly when rubbed in, so even I, who usually prefers unscented products, found it acceptable. Application and Longevity: ★★★★ Being an oil, it adheres easily even with a light touch, and it's simple to apply by rubbing with fingertips. When used alone, it seems to dry completely in the wind (after 30+ minutes) but can transfer to clothes. I'm not sure if this is because it's meant for spot treatment... However, when mixed with aloe gel or a light emulsion, it keeps itching at bay all day long. Itch Relief and Skin Improvement: ★★★★ Although the effects might be subtle due to the short period, it was effective for itching. Recently, I've been experiencing itchiness in that hard-to-reach area on my back where it's difficult to apply emulsion after showering. Applying this oil calmed my skin, reducing the urge to scratch. It also helped soothe itchy arm wounds. It worked well even on areas with excess sebum production like the face and chest. I applied it liberally even over blemishes without any adverse reactions. Finish: ★★★ I've found that using any oil by itself has its limitations. The advantage of this blended oil is that it flows well, has low viscosity, and absorbs quickly, but it's challenging to spread over large areas.
ConsTexture: ★ It's extremely runny and drips easily. I debated whether this was truly a drawback, but the oil absorbs so quickly that it disappears before you can spread it over your body. Yet, the palms become very slippery after application (which is expected with oil). This might be better for spot treatments, but it was a bit disappointing when trying to use it all over the body. Quantity: ★ I used it on my body after showers for just over a week, and it depleted quickly. I'm not sure if I used it too generously or if it's due to the texture...
TipWhen mixed with aloe gel or a light emulsion, it applies smoothly and dries well.

Many body oils contain irritating ingredients like mineral oil, which can cause itching or red spots. However, the illiyoon Red Itch Oil is free from such irritating components, which is fantastic! The lightweight and fresh formula absorbs quickly, and best of all, it's not sticky at all! It comes with a safety cap, making it convenient for storage and worry-free when carrying around. Without harsh fragrances, it's great for sensitive skin! Even when used alone, it gives your skin a healthy-looking glow, as if it's been coated, as shown in the last photo.
ConsWhile the light texture and quick absorption are advantages, it's quite runny and can drip easily. Be careful when pumping! The oil is better at locking in moisture rather than providing hydration, so it might feel lacking in terms of moisture content.
TipFor best results, apply a moisture-rich gel or emulsion first, then finish with the illiyoon Red Itch Oil. This combination will provide the hydration the oil alone lacks, while the Red Itch Oil seals in the moisture. This way, you can maintain hydrated, glowing skin all day long!

It's colorless and odorless, which makes it great for my sensitive skin. Scent: While I didn't notice any fragrance during application, there is a subtle, natural scent from the oils that lingers on pajamas. It's so faint that it won't interfere with your regular scented body lotion or cream. Application: Initially, it feels a bit shiny, but it absorbs quickly. Once absorbed, it leaves just the right amount of glow for a hydrated look. After a while, the skin feels soft without any shine. Ingredients: I appreciate that it's free from artificial fragrances and harmful ingredients, making it gentle on the skin. As claimed, I experienced no irritation. It's reassuring to know it's made from a blend of six plant-based oils. Value: The generous 200ml size and reasonable price (20,000 won) make it a great value. Overall: Body oils can make a big difference in your skincare routine. As we approach the warmer, sweatier months, this Illiyoon Red Itch Body Oil seems perfect for lightweight hydration without feeling heavy. The texture, subtle scent, and price point all make it a winner for summer use.
Cons1. You need more product than expected. Given its fluid texture, you'd expect it to spread easily over a large area. However, one pump doesn't cover as much as anticipated. While quick absorption could be a factor, you'll need to use more pumps than expected to cover larger areas. 2. It doesn't address deep dryness. While it feels light, fresh, and comfortable on the skin, it doesn't seem to tackle deep dryness. If you have very dry skin, you might need to use this in combination with other body products, even during summer months.

The biggest advantage is that it's not sticky at all! I was worried it might be too greasy since it's my first time using an oil, but it absorbs incredibly fast! Because of that, it doesn't feel overly oily or heavy. It provided better hydration than body emulsions and the moisturizing effect seemed to last longer.
ConsThe formula has a low viscosity and tends to run, so you need to be careful when applying it to your body to prevent it from dripping onto the floor.

The hydration lasts longer than regular body creams or emulsions. Although it's an oil, it feels lighter and more refreshing compared to other oils. For those who enjoy gua sha massage, this would make an excellent massage oil! I loved that it doesn't have that typical oily scent at all!
ConsPerhaps because I'm not used to oils, I find it inconvenient to apply. It tends to drip and splatter, which can be bothersome. I usually prefer heavier body creams, and even though this is considered light for an oil, it still feels heavy to me. While it adds a glow, it lacks the immediate moisture of a body cream, so it doesn't instantly smooth out dead skin cells. That was a bit disappointing.

Unlike other oils, there's almost no stickiness or slipperiness after application! I used to have a product that left a slick, residual feeling, but this one doesn't (when applied in moderation). 2. Some people mention the lack of fragrance or that it's not particularly pleasant, but I actually prefer the almost scentless formula. I usually apply it after showering before bed or going out, and strong fragrances can cause headaches or feel off-putting. Plus, there's no worry about it clashing with other scents when you're out. It's also great that the scent doesn't change much when mixed with other emulsions! 3. It's not just good for the body, but can be used on the face too. The finish isn't too oily, so even with my dry skin, I can use it after cleansing and toning without any issues. 4. Lastly, the hydration. This product feels more like it's smoothing the skin texture rather than just moisturizing. I apply a small amount, and it does an excellent job of both hydrating and refining skin texture!
ConsThere aren't many downsides yet, but: The pump bottle can be a bit inconvenient. After dispensing, oil can collect around the nozzle, and if you don't wipe it off after use, it might drip or get on other things. While the pump bottle is generally convenient, this aspect was a bit bothersome.
TipIt's great to apply directly to areas needing hydration or texture improvement right after showering. But since it's almost fragrance-free, it works wonderfully when mixed with your favorite body emulsion!

It was perfect for applying during seasonal changes. While I don't have atopic dermatitis or anything that causes itching, my skin tends to be quite dry. I made sure to apply it to my legs after showering!
ConsThe formula was a bit too runny, making it difficult to apply at the sink after showering. I had to go to my room and mix it with a body emulsion to increase its hydration power!

There's hardly any stickiness, and after it absorbs, you might wonder if you even applied anything. It absorbs incredibly fast! It feels like it's sinking into your skin before you can even spread it. The next day, your skin feels amazingly soft and smooth!
ConsThe lightweight texture and quick absorption are both a pro and a con. The formula is so light that if you're not careful, it can run. Also, it absorbs so quickly that you end up using more product just to enjoy the sensation of applying it.
TipI love applying light gel creams on my body with quick strokes, but those formulas often lack hydration, leaving my skin dry by the next morning. Mixing this with those lightweight formulas maintains the light feel while adding much-needed hydration. It works great!

My skin is thin and delicate, reacting instantly to the slightest irritation - I'm the owner of ultra-sensitive skin. Illiyoon is a brand I'm very familiar with, as their body emulsion is my daily go-to. I've lost count of how many bottles of Illiyoon body emulsion I've used! Illiyoon is one of the brands I trust and love, so I was overjoyed to be selected for The Hwahae Testers event. I had never tried the MD Red-itch Oil before, so I waited for the delivery with a mix of excitement and anticipation. My first impression was that it's incredibly fluid - so runny it could drip. Because of this, it felt extremely lightweight and refreshing. The texture itself is different from other oils, being lighter, which is why it absorbs really quickly. The best part is that it's not sticky at all! Previously purchased oils from other brands left a sticky residue, which made me reluctant to use them often. But this product has zero stickiness. After application, it leaves a glossy, protective feeling on the skin. It's a great product for daily, lightweight use.
ConsFor an oil, it doesn't seem to provide exceptional hydration, possibly due to its very thin consistency. While it's good for light application, it doesn't give a sense of deep moisturization. Also, because of its runny texture, every time I pump it out, the product drips off my hand, which is disappointing. I think it might be better if they changed the packaging from a pump to a different type. And the volume seems a bit small. When using it all over the body, I noticed the amount decreasing rapidly.
TipI use it as a body oil. After showering, I remove excess water with a towel, then apply the oil all over my body, gently patting it in for absorption. Afterwards, I apply Illiyoon body emulsion once more, resulting in an ultimate hydrating and moisturizing experience.
