It seems perfect for use during seasonal changes. Although it's meant for daytime use, I applied it as the final step after cleansing at night, and it really helped refine my skin texture. While it didn't completely eliminate deep dryness after morning and evening cleansing, it did seem effective at removing dead skin cells! I love that I can use it in this order: cleanse, exfoliate, then apply the Dokdo Day Clear Toner - it helps tone the skin without causing much irritation. And the packaging is absolutely adorable!
ConsDespite its watery consistency, it didn't feel as light and refreshing as I expected. (However, after finishing the bottle and trying other toners, I realized) it's actually incredibly lightweight and refreshing. I now understand how truly light it feels compared to other products. That's why I repurchased this product... Also, the scent is surprisingly artificial with a noticeable alcohol smell. It's not bothersome when applied to the skin, but it's quite strong when you open the cap. Of course, I personally like the alcohol scent, so it didn't bother me.
TipThis toner pairs well with heavier creams. For those with extremely dry skin like mine who've been using rich creams all winter, as the weather warms up, the combination of serum and cream might feel too heavy. This toner with a rich cream could be a good balance, even suitable for morning use.

Before trying the Dokdo Toner, I used toners with slightly thicker consistencies, but not as watery as this one. Let me share the positives! I used the Dokdo Toner as an exfoliating toner in the evening and a regular toner in the morning. 1. Gentle formula: This product is known for its gentleness, which I immediately noticed. I didn't expect additional benefits beyond its mildness, but I was looking for a clean, non-sticky finish - and it delivered exactly that! 2. Effective cleansing: When used as an exfoliating toner, it performed surprisingly well. I have oily, acne-prone skin with a lot of dead skin cells, and I don't usually exfoliate separately. Despite its gentle, watery texture, it exceeded my expectations in removing impurities. 3. Perfect for combination dehydrated skin: As mentioned, I have oily, acne-prone skin that gets shiny quickly with heavy products. This toner provides a truly clean finish - it's like the foundation of all foundations in skincare! Even when I applied heavier creams in winter, it helped control shine better than other toners, which I really appreciated.
ConsGiven that it's a gentle toner, it's more about laying a good foundation for your skincare rather than offering multiple benefits. (I personally like this aspect, but it could be a drawback depending on what you're looking for.) Also, as you can see, it has a very watery consistency. If you're not using it as an exfoliating toner and prefer to simply apply toner, you might find it runs too much!

Cons- The water-based formula tends to drip without a cotton pad... bummer!
Tip- Use with a cotton pad or toner pad for perfect application! - Can be easily used as a quick mask! - Get two benefits in one without buying extra toner pads!
