As someone with oily skin, I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly this mineral sunscreen applied. It absorbs well despite being a physical sunscreen. I honestly can't think of any downsides. It's been a while since I've come across such a great sunscreen. This sunscreen seems to work hard for all skin types, even those with oily complexions. It's refreshing to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a heavy or sticky feeling on the skin. For those concerned about pilling or a white cast often associated with physical sunscreens, this product appears to address those issues effectively. - na*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 15, 2025
I really liked the white cast it gives! (It makes your bare face look beautifully bright.) As the name suggests with "no sebum," it's quite mattifying. So I always applied it over a moisturizer when my skin was nice and supple, or mixed it with my moisturizer. But I heard mixing sunscreen with moisturizer reduces its effectiveness on the skin? As I've gotten older, my combination skin has been shifting towards dry, so I've decided to pass this on. It's a bit too intense for dry skin types. I managed to use up the whole tube, but during fall and winter, it caused severe dead skin cells, dryness, and blemishes. I definitely don't recommend it for the dry season. It's truly a summer sunscreen. However, in summer, it's really good. It controls oil and gives a bright, powdery finish. This review highlights the product's strong mattifying properties, which work well for oily skin in summer but can be too drying for other seasons or skin types. The white cast is seen as a positive feature for brightening the complexion. The reviewer suggests applying over a moisturizer or mixing with one for better results, though notes concerns about this affecting sun protection. As their skin became drier with age, they found the product less suitable. The contrasting experiences in different seasons emphasize the importance of choosing skincare products that match your skin type and the current climate.
