Even though I'm a 21 shade, different brands were often too bright, had too much yellow, or were all over the place, so it was difficult to find the perfect match for my skin tone. But now I've finally found it. When applied only to the face, the difference in tone between my face and neck is not too severe, so my face doesn't look patchy and unnatural. 2. Even with a casual application, the skin expression turns out beautifully. I didn't use any makeup base or primer, but pores and blemishes are well covered, and the adhesion is good, so I was able to go 10 hours without touch-ups and still look decent. If anything, the forehead and nose areas seem to have a nice, natural-looking oiliness (the dry areas around the mouth have some pore clogging). 3. As a glow cushion, it provides a lovely, radiant finish. Although I have combination skin, and dislike dryness, this cushion works well for me, except during the summer. 4. The puff is a wet puff, so it's very dense and expels the product well. The water droplet shape makes it convenient to apply around the nose and eye areas.
ConsAdmittedly, since it is a cushion, it could not be expected to have the same level of adhesion and longevity as a foundation. Instead, it provides convenience...
TipThe Hwahae Trial Reviewers found that the Hwahae is easy for beginners to use as the Hwahae does not dry out quickly. Even if you apply too much product on the puff, you can simply dab it on your face without the need to wipe it off on the tray, and slowly blend it out.

The design is also really pretty, so I want to carry it around with me.
ConsThe coverage was a bit disappointing. While it did cover some redness, the effect didn't last long and it felt like it wore off quickly.

However, it's not as intense as a full coverage foundation. I think the coverage is suitable for daily use. As my main concerns are minor unevenness and redness, rather than major blemishes, I'm satisfied with the coverage. ๐ Texture (High) The formula is moist yet has a slight density, and it adheres well to the skin when first applied, which I'm satisfied with. Even with the moist texture, it fills in the pores well. The finish can range from semi-matte to semi-glow depending on your skin type and base. For me, if I have a fresh base, it leaves a slightly dewy semi-matte finish. If I have a more moisturized base, it can give a more glowy finish. ๐ Longevity & Darkening (Medium-Low) As I have an oily T-zone, my face tends to get quite shiny over time, and honestly, any product tends to break down quickly on me. Compared to the initial application, the longevity wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped. On days when my oil production is relatively low, it doesn't completely wear off, but the redness starts to show through. So it may work well for those with normal to dry skin. However, those with oily skin will likely need to use powder to help with longevity. On days when my oil production is particularly high, it breaks down more messily and can darken, which is disappointing. Additionally, the puff is nicely dense and helps with application, and the color 21 matches my skin tone well.
ConsBlemish-prone skin or skin with large pores and redness may not be able to control the oil, causing the makeup to break down and wear off within 5-6 hours.
TipFor blemish-prone skin or skin with large pores and redness, it's best to have a solid skincare routine and use powder to help improve the longevity.
