Since it was recommended by The Hwahae Testers, I bought it and have been using it for 7 months. Here's my review: To cut to the chase, I absolutely recommend it! I've already finished three bottles! 1. Gentle ingredients - Being a vegan product, it worked well even for my super sensitive skin 2. Soothing effects - When my skin is irritated, applying a thick layer helps calm it down and reduces blemishes - I've tried many products claiming to be good for acne, but for me, this one takes the cake 3. Texture - It's neither too heavy nor too light, making it perfect for daily use - It might be a bit dry when used alone in winter, but it's great during seasonal changes 1. Pilling issues - If you don't control the amount properly or don't let it absorb fully before applying makeup, it can sometimes pill I find it works better as a sleeping pack at night rather than in the morning routine - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
It applies smoothly without irritating the skin, and its soothing effect is so reliable that I felt comfortable using it even on days when my skin was super sensitive. The absorption is a bit slow, which was disappointing as it sometimes caused pilling when I applied other products immediately after. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 15, 2025
Love it!! Even with my super sensitive skin, there's no irritation. After applying, it feels like I'm wearing nothing - no stickiness at all. It's amazing... Plus, it keeps combating deep dryness, so having just this one product makes me feel secure. I think it'll be perfect for summer use. Since it contains a lot of emollients like silicone, I noticed that if you apply too much, it tends to pill like dead skin. I think it's best to use it in moderation! - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 10, 2024
It absorbs smoothly and adheres well to the skin, making it perfect for replenishing moisture before bedtime Those with oily skin might find it causes pilling and excessive oil production, which could be bothersome - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2024
I've been using this for over 3 years. I always apply it as the final step in my evening skincare routine to lock in moisture! It soothes my skin after cleansing, especially when it feels irritated. It provides just the right amount of hydration and is perfect for daily use. Compared to the soothing version, this one has a bit more richness, so those with oily skin might experience some pilling if applied too generously. That's why I wouldn't recommend using it in the morning before makeup. (It might be fine for those with dry skin though) - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2024
Moisturizing soothing cream! Skin soothing! Moisture replenishment! It fills your skin with abundant moisture and feels so supple!!! It's great as a sleeping pack at night! The manufacturer is Cosmax. The volume is 70ml. I've been using it all the time and it seems to have worked wonders! It's a holy grail product! Highly recommended!! I'm diligently using it up in 2022 as well! Highly recommended!! There were 2 cautionary ingredients, but they've disappeared, which is great! 24.06.26, 25.05.18 It's inconvenient to twist the lid and apply. After opening, use within 12 months! There is pilling during the day. Applying before makeup is not recommended. Before going to bed, it's great to apply a generous amount and then sleep. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 5, 2024
This gentle moisturizer is perfect if you're looking for a mild cream that won't irritate your skin and has great soothing effects. It provides ample hydration and even those with very dry skin will appreciate its moisturizing power. The absorption is a major issue! It's slow to sink in and feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin. The biggest problem, though, is that it causes makeup to pill. You can't use this alone - you'll definitely need to apply a fast-absorbing toner or essence first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 30, 2024
I was introduced to Dr.G during my military service and have been using it for over 7 years, probably going through about 50 bottles. I love that I can apply it generously without feeling heavy, and it keeps my skin moisturized. I've never experienced any blemishes because of it, so I always use it with peace of mind. In the military, it was affordable, so I applied it liberally. After discharge, using it liberally at full price is a bit tough on the wallet, but I still think investing in your skin is worth it. I'd rather use this consistently than sparingly apply some ridiculously expensive product that costs hundreds of dollars. I'm always grateful for this product. Of course, as expected, if you apply it generously and then put on sunscreen, it can pill. But for someone like me who doesn't wear sunscreen because it feels heavy, it's not an issue... Stock up and apply it generously! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2024
First off, I absolutely love how well my skin responds to the cica ingredients. When I slather this on generously before bed, I wake up to find all my redness completely calmed down! Unfortunately, it's not great for use before applying makeup. I tried it once and it caused pilling. I highly recommend applying a generous layer before going to sleep. It's also perfect as a skincare minimalist's go-to product. I use it every night except on days when I do a mask. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2024
It feels like a lightweight, emulsion-type moisturizer packed with hydration. The texture is full of moisture, and thanks to the centella and madecassoside ingredients, it's great for calming redness. It absorbs well, making it perfect for summer use. With no irritation, it's especially suitable for oily and combination skin types. If you apply too much, the formula can occasionally pill or sit on top of the skin rather than fully absorbing.
