For those with dry skin, using it with powder in summer delays oil buildup in the T-zone and improves longevity. In winter, you can skip powder and just use the spray for a powder-like effect. Highly recommended for oily skin types who prefer a matte finish and want something that works hard for their complexion. The unfamiliar medicinal scent and spray force take some getting used to. It disperses in clumps, almost like someone sneezing in your face. Though the smell is milder compared to the original version. Occasionally, when sprayed on the face, droplets can fall and create uneven patches. So even application is crucial. The matte finish can cause some tightness, and it felt quite drying in winter. If it gets on your hair, it clumps up and looks like dandruff, which is not ideal. When comparing to the original, the original product seems to perform better overall.

While powder is definitely more effective, this fixer comes in handy when I'm too lazy to apply powder or during summer. In the hot months, using powder followed by this fixer keeps my makeup intact without needing touch-ups. I'm particularly meticulous about my eyebrows, and this product is a lifesaver when I'm too busy for touch-ups! However, I'm not entirely sure how well it preserves the rest of my complexion, but that's hard to judge due to mask-wearing. To be honest, I bought the travel size because the full-size price was a bit steep. Since it works so well, I find myself using it sparingly to make it last. But I'm sure there are ways to find it at a better price!
