  Sulwhasoo's First Care Activating Serum is a truly essential item I've been using for over 5 years and highly recommend. When your skin looks particularly dull and the texture feels off, applying this shows immediate results by the next day. The hydration is so noticeable the following morning, and it's not just surface-level moisture - you can feel the deep hydration from within. The formula is slightly thin, allowing it to instantly absorb into the skin, and it has excellent absorption overall. As expected from Sulwhasoo, it has a subtle herbal scent which may be divisive, but the product's benefits far outweigh any fragrance concerns.

  The only downside, apart from the scent which some may not prefer, is the high price point.

  This is a booster-type essence used in the first step of skincare. It has a transparent, slightly watery texture that absorbs into the skin as if it's clinging on when applied.
