ConsAs others have mentioned, it feels moisturizing when first applied, but after a while, it starts pilling on my face like dead skin cells. It also leaves a strange feeling on my skin, as if there's an extra layer covering it. When I touch my face, it doesn't feel like the product has absorbed properly, but instead feels like it's sitting on top of my skin and peeling off like dead skin. I'm shocked because I've never experienced pilling with just sunscreen before - I'm not even wearing makeup! I'm glad I only tried a sample and didn't purchase the full-size product.

Feels like a typical organic UV filter sunscreen emulsion. Shine: Unlike most organic UV filter sunscreens that can feel greasy even without being sticky, this product isn't sticky or shiny. It even becomes slightly matte over time. Just slightly! How well the capsules spread: Spreads better than expected. I thought I'd feel the capsules more, but they're barely noticeable. Still, apply thoroughly to avoid leaving a few granules behind! Makeup-friendly: Applied a semi-matte cushion foundation, and it created a beautiful, subtle glow rather than an oily shine. No patchiness, it applied smoothly! Layering comfort: Finishes light and fresh, so reapplication doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. Love that it doesn't have that metallic smell that often occurs when sunscreen mixes with skin oils over time! At least, that was my experience.
Cons(Review updated 5/15) After using it for a few days, I noticed it finishes like a coating? This... peels off when scratched and pills like dead skin cells over time. While it's not drying and less irritating than other organic UV filter sunscreens, this is a major drawback... I'm not sure if it's incompatible with my skincare products. I'll try using it differently for a few days... Eye irritation: No issues when applying normally, but be careful if water gets around your eyes! Watch out for tears from yawning... it happened to me. Irritation (itching, bumps, stinging, etc.): Felt a slight burning sensation on blemishes or areas with thin skin. I'm generally not compatible with organic UV filters, so I usually get a few blemishes, but this product caused far fewer than others. Still, since there was some irritation, those with sensitive to extremely sensitive skin should patch test! Collagen capsules: You can't just quickly apply and be done! You'll need to rub it in to break down the remaining capsules, which might cause slight irritation for those with sensitive skin! The price is a bit steep 😂
TipOverall: The finish feels like a thin, barely-there coating rather than leaving behind moisture or oil, creating a subtle glow! So even though it's an organic UV filter sunscreen, those with very dry/dry skin might feel a bit of dryness in winter after some time. (This may vary depending on skin condition and skincare routine!) Unless you have extremely oily skin, it should work well year-round for combination to oily skin types! You need to apply the capsules well, but they burst easily without needing to rub too hard.

I love that it's not bothersome. Texture: Silky smooth. The finish is velvety and silky without being drying, and it doesn't make your hair stick to your face - that's a big plus. I'm really impressed with the texture and finish! Hydration: The collagen capsules seem to be effective, and it feels moisturizing on the skin. High Sun Protection: With SPF50 and PA++++, it seems to offer robust protection against UV rays. No White Cast: This sunscreen doesn't leave a white residue.
ConsThe lid doesn't open and close as smoothly as I'd like. Unfortunately, it doesn't play well with makeup. While it's not drying and has a silky finish that I thought would work great as a primer, when I applied makeup over it, it pilled and came off in little bits like dead skin. I tried using less sunscreen and lightening up my skincare routine, but it still pilled. Because of this, I've decided to use it on days when I'm not wearing makeup rather than as a base for makeup.
TipThis sunscreen seems better suited for bare-faced days rather than as a base for makeup. The finish isn't sticky at all, so it doesn't make your hair stick to your face - it's just perfect for that!
